Have We Really Stopped to Consider the Second Coming of Jesus?
“Thus says the LORD,
. . .
“Remember the former things long past,
For I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is no one like Me,
Declaring the end from the beginning,
And from ancient times things which have not been done,
Saying, ‘My purpose will be established,
And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’;
Calling a bird of prey from the east,
The man of My purpose from a far country.
Truly I have spoken; truly I will bring it to pass.
I have planned it, surely I will do it.”
(Isaiah 45: 14a & 46: 9-11 NASB)
- God knows the end.
- God knows how He began the beginning.
- God knows the start.
God is the Alpha & the Omega!
The Bible says so!
- God is the beginning & the last.
God was!
Before anything—God was!
- All things hold together because of God.
Almighty God is the Holy Spirit & He is the Son of God—Three in one, the Holy Trinity!
- When we pray, Father, then we acknowledge Him as our Creator.
- When we pray, Lord, then we acknowledge Him as our Messiah.
- When we pray, Jesus, then we acknowledge Him as our Savior.
Each day I am afforded the opportunity to teach, I drive toward the western sky, toward a darkness that has not yet experienced the light of the new day. As I drive west, I begin to see the eastern light, illuminating the eastern sky, the dawn of the new day. Truthfully, it is difficult to focus upon the front windshield of my vehicle (that faces the dark, western sky) when my side and rearview mirrors both reveal the beautiful light of the new day.
Yesterday, I was gifted with a gorgeous sunrise.
Oh, how glorious the new dawning day was to my eyes, to my being, to my soul.
Yesterday, I was gifted with an extravagant sunrise.
Oh, how glorious the God, our Creator, is to be mindful of us (mankind), to desire that we know Him.
Yesterday, as I neared the final miles of my drive to campus, the eastern sunrise filled the windshield as it magnified the fog laying along the top of the earth.
I could hardly drive for the beauty!
- Let us not be lazy, or unprepared, or not on watch—BUT
- Let us be ready, alert, and ever watchful—FOR
JESUS CHRIST WILL COME AGAIN ONE DAY SOON!
“But in those days, after that tribulation, THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT,
(Mark 13: 24-26 NASB)
AND THE STARS WILL BE FALLING from heaven, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken.
Then they will see THE SON OF MAN COMING IN CLOUDS with great power and glory.”
- God knows the end & God knows the beginning.
- God knows the start because God is the Alpha & the Omega!
- The sun will go dark & the moon will not light the night sky.
- The stars will fall from the sky & the world will be shaken.
- The SON OF MAN will be seen in the clouds & HE will come “with great power and glory.”
Jesus Himself said so!
- We live so caught up in the present-day conditions of our lives—BUT
- Have We Really Stopped to Consider the Second Coming of Jesus?—FOR
JESUS CHRIST WILL COME AGAIN ONE DAY SOON!
- TRULY, WE CAN SEE THE SUNRISE & BE AMAZED BY THE MAJESTY OF GOD.
- TRULY, WE CAN SEE THE SUNRISE & BE AWED BY THE ALMIGHTY CREATOR.
- TRULY WE CAN SEE JESUS & ACCEPT HIM AS OUR SAVIOR.
- TRULY, WE CAN SEE THE LOST WHO SURROUND US ON EVERY SIDE.
- TRULY, WHEN JESUS, THE SON OF MAN COMES IN THE CLOUDS WITH GLORY AND POWER—PEOPLE WILL NOT QUESTION WHETHER HIS COMING IS REAL.
- Let Us Be Alert—Child of God!
“Love With Your Life” by Hollyn speaks through melody—reminding Christians where we need to fix our eyes, our hearts, and our lives today.
May we walk on Mission, this day—FOR TODAY COULD BE THE DAY JESUS COMES!
- Let Us Live Fully Focused Upon the Second Coming of Jesus!
“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.
(1 Thessalonians 4: 16-18 NASB)
Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord.
Therefore comfort one another with these words.”
