No—O—R—D—I—N—A—R—Y—Days
Only EXTRA-ORDINARY GOD MOMENTS!
If we are here together (one of us is reading these words, while the other one is writing), then that means we are alive in this moment, in this time together, in this space. Since we are alive—together—in this time and place and space, then this also means we cannot expect the ordinary to occur. That’s Right! There are NO ordinary days, moments, times, or people. God is at work in EVERYTHING!
That is correct. We were and are created for God’s good pleasure, for His purpose, for God’s will, and the Bible is so clear about God’s Holy Will—to seek and to save ALL who are lost without HIM!
So, let’s review for a second:
- We are all HERE & ALIVE together within this year, this month, this week, this day, this moment, this space, and this place (earth)—TOGETHER!
- We are all expected to live EXTRA-ORDINARY lives while we are here—TOGETHER!
- We are all walking, breathing, existing FOR GOD because GOD is at work in—EVERYTHING!
- We are all created for one purpose—GOD’S—and because we are, TOGETHER, we are to LIVE FOR—HIM—IN AN EXTRA-ORDINARY WAY—TOGETHER—TRUSTING HIM IN EVERY FACET OF OUR LIVES!
Easy, right?
No! Not so easy because we are breathing, thinking, idea-thinking, intelligent people who readily know our strengths and also our weaknesses. We are people who like to think, “I’ve got this,” and then when we land on our backside and must crawl to the nearest piece of furniture to stand erect again, we suddenly realize, “Oh, God, I DO NOT have any of this without YOU!”
Maybe we can see ourselves in a godly man named Moses. One who was born to a loving mother who had to be given up for adoption because she (his mother) wished to save his life. Yes, maybe we are so much like Moses in that we grew up in a home where we had all of our needs met and even more, but still in our heart, we knew something, someone was missing.
Like Moses, maybe we even found ourselves striking out toward our own people.
Like Moses, maybe we have encountered and fully realize that we are standing within God’s presence!
Also like Moses, maybe we know God has called us to something that seems impossible to accomplish, and (like Moses) we grumble, complain, see our weaknesses, and say, “God, no not me but chose someone else. Please, God.”
Maybe like Moses, we even sense God’s anger at our response.
Maybe like Moses, we realize the depth of God’s love!
Yes, maybe we are so much like our brother Moses!
“And God said to Moses, ‘I AM WHO I AM’; and He said, [GOD said to His child & chosen one] “This is what you shall say to the sons of Israel: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ “
(Exodus 3: 14 NASB)
“Greatness Of Our God” by the band Newsboys proclaims through song what might have been running through Moses’ head as he stood there, within God’s presence, that day. Out in the pasture, doing the work that he was tasked to do, working for his wife’s dad, tending the sheep—there in the most ordinary place, Moses came face-to-face with Almighty God.
Awesome Wonder!
HONOR & PRAISE!
JESUS!
Forever Reigning!
Endless Power!
Living Within Us Who Believe In HIM!
The Greatness Of Our GOD . . . !
Moses was standing there with his staff in hand, maybe even leaning upon the tool he used to tend the flock assigned to him, maybe tired from his work, and there he came face-to-face with God through the consuming, never-ending fire of Jehovah God.
Moses was there!
Moses was alive!
Moses was breathing, living, doing ordinary things, &
Moses suddenly realized the TRUTH:
There are No—O—R—D—I—N—A—R—Y—Days but
Only EXTRA-ORDINARY GOD MOMENTS!
There is ONE & ONLY ONE Living & True God!
Let us read these words again to be sure we can see.
There is ONE & ONLY ONE Living & True God!
Let us hear these words again with clarity.
There is ONE & ONLY ONE Living & True God!
Let us breath in these words.
There is ONE & ONLY ONE Living & True God!
Let us take in these words, tasting the sweet flavor.
There is ONE & ONLY ONE Living & True God!
Let us reach out, touching the TRUTH found in the words.
There is ONE & ONLY ONE Living & True God!
Let us intuitively know that we know that we know—GOD IS HERE, WITH US!
- Almighty God placed us in our mother’s womb at just His perfect time for us to be alive.
- Jehovah God placed us in our father’s family at just His perfect place where HE (GOD) wanted us to live.
- Father God placed us in our profession, using the talents and skills HE (Yes GOD) gave us for the task HE wanted us to do.
God did all that for Moses, so why would God not also do all that for us?!!!
- Here’s why we can believe God Is Who He Says He Is—‘I AM WHO I AM’! (Exodus 3: 14A NASB)
- Here’s why we can believe God’s purpose for what He gives us to do—
“This is what you shall say to the sons of Israel:”
(Exodus 3: 14B NASB)
- Here’s why we can believe God’s plan for what He sends us to say—
‘I AM has sent me to you.’
(Exodus 3: 14B NASB)
- Here’s why we can believe God’s presence & purpose for our lives—
“Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.”
(1 Timothy 1: 17 NASB)
- Here’s why (like Moses and like so many others) we can follow God—
“Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine;”
(Exodus 19: 5 NASB)
May We!

Yes, May We—Be God’s!
Yes, May We Always Remember—
There are No—O—R—D—I—N—A—R—Y—Days but

Today, may we walk worthy of the KING of all kings!
