Morning Thoughts

A walk through life toward eternity

The VOID—Only FILLED Through—GOD!

FILLED.

FULLNESS.

OVERFLOWING TO CAPACITY.

At our conception, our body began to grow.  Individual cells became mass conglomerations of cells, coming together to create the inner-workings of each one of us.  Our internal organs formed.  Our bodies formed.  We gained lungs for our breath & a beating heart for our earthly existence.  We came equipped with arms, legs, fingers, and toes.  Inside our heads grew our brain that houses our thought processes, our memory, our knowledge collector.  We gained so many working parts within the brief time we formed deep within our mother’s womb.  We could not begin this process without the work of our heavenly Father God—who combined our earthly father with our earthly mother as God fashioned us, began us, creating our existence.

GOD Did All That!

Deep within us, God placed our soul.

Deep within us, God placed our desire to know Him.

Deep within us, God placed our innate yearning to know Father God in relationship.

  • God knew us—from our beginning.
  • God knew us—for He fashioned us, from our beginning.
  • God knew us—for He placed us within our earthly families (our mom & our dad).
  • God knew us, then—in our beginning—AND God desired that we come to know Him.

That’s why

  • God sent His Only Begotten Son to earth—So we could come to know God the Father.

On the day of our birth, we breathed our first breath.

On the day of our conception, we were created with a void.

On the day of our existence, we sensed the void that only the fullness of God could fill.

In God’s Word, we meet the woman at the well (the Samaritan woman who had known many husbands).  She was alive but not living.  She was existing but not filled.  She was breathing but she did not have the breath of life living within her.  She knew this, realized this void, on the day she met Jesus.  All of us know this, realize this Truth—On the Day We First Encounter Jesus Christ.

“Jesus answered and said to her, [the woman at the well] “Everyone who drinks of this water [the drinking water from the well] will be thirsty again;

but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never be thirsty;  but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life.”

The woman said to Him, “Sir, give me this water so that I will not be thirsty, nor come all the way here to draw water.”

(John 4: 13-15 NASB)

The woman said:  “Sir, give me this water so that I will not be thirsty, . . .”

Jesus said to the woman (of the water):  “whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never be thirsty; . . .”

The woman desired to quench her thirst.

Jesus knew He was the fulfillment of the woman’s Inner-Thirst, the Only One who could EVER QUENCH HER THIRST!

Jesus spoke to the women & to each of us:  “the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life.”

In the Old Testament, King David sought this truth.

“LORD, I love the dwelling of Your house, and the place where Your glory remains.”

(Psalm 26: 8 NASB)

In the New Testament, the Apostle Paul wrote of this truth.

“Do you know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

If anyone destroys the temple of God,

God will destroy that person;  for the temple of God is holy,

and that is what you are.”

(1 Corinthians 3: 16-17 NASB)

Are we “living” knowing we are Completely FILLED?

Are we “walking” in the FULLNESS of Christ Jesus?

Are we “serving GOD” as we serve the needs of others, so FILLED with the FULLNESS of GOD’S HOLY SPIRIT that we are OVERFLOWING TO CAPACITY?

It is 100% True—the VOID—Can Only Be FILLED Through the Presence of—ALMIGHTY GOD!

  • From our conception until our earthly death, we are not complete—Apart from God!
  • From our birth to our death, we are not ever satisfied—Apart from God!
  • From our existence to our eternal destination, we are FOREVER “EMPTY”—Apart from God!

So, today, I am thankful that God sought to know me, to fill me completely with His presence.

I am thankful God sought the same for you as well.

Together, we can individually and collectively sense God’s Amazing Grace alive & living deep within our being.

  • Let us raise our hands in praise.
  • Let us bend down upon our knees and thank our Father God.
  • Let us live as the living sanctuaries we have become—through Jesus our Savior.
  • Let us proclaim the presence & salvation of God to the world surrounding us.
  • Let us witness, testifying of our Redeemer.
  • Let us pray to the Father, asking for opportunities every day to share Jesus with others.
  • Let us kneel to pray & then let us stand as we serve our fellow man, serving as Jesus taught us.
  • Let us seek to obey the Holy Spirit of God alive & dwelling within us.
  • Let us be COMPLETELY SOLD-OUT for JESUS—who is ALIVE & who is COMING AGAIN AT THE APPOINTED TIME!

Ravi Zacharias, a man of God, wrote these words that help us remember this TRUTH.

“The Christian does not go to the temple to worship.

The Christian takes the temple with him or her.”

May we, the church of the “living” GOD be the “living” temple of God as we walk throughout our day(s).

So, as we step into this day, let us end these thoughts—focused upon the Infallible & Holy Word of God. The Apostle Paul, a prisoner of men, spoke this beautiful Truth within his letter written to the believers in Ephesus.

“For this reason I bend my knees before the Father,

from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name,

that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner self,

so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith;  and that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth,

and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled to the fullness of God.”

(Ephesians 3: 14-19 NASB)
