How deep is the love of God?
How joyful can our worship BECOME because of the depth of God’s love?
How much peace did God grant us when He filled our being with His Holy Spirit?
How Deep—Love Filled!
How—Joy Filled!
How—Peace Filled!
Could we lose our spouse and remain faithful to God?
Could we lose our home and raise our hands in praise?
Could we lose our identity, our heritage and receive a heart full of worship?
How far could we really—GO—fully TRUSTING our LORD?
How deep could we really—LOVE—our GOD?
How amazing really is the—FORGIVENESS & GRACE—of our FATHER?
Nothing shapes our lives more than how faithful we remain to our commitment to God! Life comes day-after-day, second-by-second until we pause one day, looking in our life rearview mirror and wonder, “God, where did all the time go?”
There once lived a woman, famous now because of the way she loved. Hardship filled her life on a day she least expected it to come. She could have been bitter, could have become remorse-filled, and could have thrown up her hands and exclaimed, “Lord, how could you!” But Ruth did not do any of those things.
- Instead, Ruth demonstrated the depth of God’s Love.
- Instead Ruth revealed the fullness of God’s Joy.
- Instead Ruth walked forward, daily trusting God’s Peace.
Read with me Ruth’s words, yes, words spoken within God’s Holy Word, words we know so well; nevertheless, words spoken we struggle to follow.
“And they raised their voices and wept again; and Orpah kissed her mother-in-law, but Ruth clung to her.
Then she said, [her mother-in-law Naomi said] “Behold, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and her gods; return after your sister-in-law.”
But Ruth said, [to Naomi] “Do not plead with me to leave you or to turn back from following you; for where you go, I will go, and where you sleep, I will sleep. Your people shall be my people, and your God, my God.”
(Ruth 1: 14-16 NASB)
How far could we really—GO—fully TRUSTING our LORD?
How deep could we really—LOVE—our GOD?
How amazing really is the—FORGIVENESS & GRACE—of our FATHER?
“Jesus said to him [to His disciple Thomas], “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.”
(John 14: 6 NASB)
If we want the peace of God, we must trust His Plan for our lives!
If we want the joy of God, we must trust His Purpose for our days, our weeks, our months—our moments!
If we want the love of God, we must totally TRUST HIM!
If we want to “experience God,” then we must first Believe & Continue to Believe & Believe God every single day until our last breath!
Thus, we are afforded the wonderful opportunity to see how God would have us live as we walk throughout our lives. Let us end here & Let us see what God expects of His children who are filled with the LOVE—JOY—& PEACE of our Father God!
“Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus,
by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, through His flesh,
and since we have a great priest over the house of God,
let’s approach God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
Let’s hold firmly to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”
