The SILENCE Found in Not KNOWING!
Does God exist? “Yes, I think so, he replied”
Do you believe in God? “Yes, I like to think that I do, he responded.”
Have you ever experienced an encounter with God? Silence. When one has no answer, Silence fills the room.
Does the presence of heaven and hell affect the way you think? Silence. When one has no answer, Silence fills the room.
“We do not believe the same.” “How’s that,” I asked. Silence. When one has no answer, Silence fills the room.
Recently, before Christmas, a news report identified the fact that Christianity dropped a certain percentage during the Coronavirus shutdown. Surveys show how many church attenders are not sure if they really have eternal life. Surveys also show that others are not sure about their place in heaven upon their death, that they respond with answers like, “I hope so.” When asked about their assurance of salvation, church attenders reply with, “I guess so” OR EVEN WITH “Time will tell when I die.”
THESE ANSWERS ARE SO HORRIBLY SAD!!!
THE SILENCE OF NOT KNOWING—FOR SURE—IF GOD EXISTS, & IF HEAVEN & HELL EXIST, &. IF SALVATION IS THEIRS, & IF JESUS CHRIST IS THEIR SAVIOR—
HORRIBLY, HORRIBLY, HORRIBLY SAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Assurance is a gift from God! The “assurance of our salvation” can be known 100%. We should never, ever need to respond with SILENCE, with SHOULDER SHRUGS, or with MAYBES & I HOPE SO.
GOD’S WORD TELLS US WE CAN EFFECTIVELY KNOW SO—EXACTLY WHERE WE STAND IN RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD!!!!!
Our relationship with God is not ever a “hope so,” “someday, I will know,” “possibly so,” or with a response of “silence” because we just don’t know how to respond.
Don’t believe me but see with me the truth found in God’s Word.
“By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him.
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. . . .
By this [by the atoning of our sins upon the cross by Jesus Christ, the Son of God] we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.
Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, so also are we in this world.”

We can KNOW of the ASSURANCE of our SALVATION!
We do not ever need to “hope so,” or “wonder,” or “wait and see,” or “hope there is a God,” or even remain “silent when asked.”
- SALVATION IS A FREE GIFT FROM GOD—ONE that can be RECEIVED!
- SALVATION is a GIFT from GOD—A GIFT to be RECEIVED by our DECISION to ACCEPT the TRUTH of God!
- SALVATION is a GIFT from GOD—not something we can earn through our GOOD BEHAVIOR!
- SALVATION is a GIFT that can be RECEIVED—by BELIEVING & ACCEPTING—the TRUTH of the work of JESUS CHRIST upon the CROSS of CALVARY!
- SALVATION is a GIFT from GOD that can be RECEIVED—by CONFESSION of our sins to GOD—realizing that the BLOOD of JESUS upon the CROSS covers the whole multitude of sins committed by all of humanity!
- ETERNAL LIFE IS KNOWING—100% THAT THE BLOOD OF JESUS COVERS OUR SINS & ETERNAL LIFE IS KNOWING THAT GOD HAS PREPARED A PLACE IN HEAVEN FOR HIS CHILDREN, FOR THOSE WHO “CHOOSE TO BELIEVE & ACCEPT HIM & CONFESS HIM AS LORD.”
- SALVATION IS KNOWING—100% THAT HEAVEN & HELL ARE REAL PLACES!
- SALVATION IS KNOWING—100% THAT WE WILL FACE GOD’S JUDGMENT WHEN WE DIE!
- ETERNAL LIFE IS—100% our Choice to BELIEVE or to NOT BELIEVE!
- SALVATION is—100% our Choice to ACCEPT the FREE GIFT GOD OFFERS!
- SALVATION is—100% our Choice to CONFESS our SINS & ASK GOD for HIS FREE GIFT!
- SALVATION is—100% our Choice to RECEIVE the FREE GIFT GOD OFFERS!
SALVATION—We hold fast to our CONFESSION; We are filled with the indwelling of GOD’S HOLY SPIRIT; We share aloud our TESTIMONY with others; We love others as JESUS FIRST LOVED us and offered us the GIFT of HIS SAVING GRACE!
SALVATION & ETERNAL LIFE—We can KNOW that we KNOW that we KNOW!!!!!!
Today, allow the Word of God to resonate within our hearts.
