Thank You, Lord
You might have watched the series “The Chosen” on Netflix. There is a season when Jesus comforts a woman who society has disregarded and thrown away in their minds, saying, “She’s no good.”
When God placed you inside your mother’s womb, you were born into this sin-infested world. However, God made it possible for you to LIVE without condemnation.
God sent His Only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for humanity.
Before reading, pause to grab your earbuds and listen to the melody titled: “Roots” by Jamie MacDonald.
As I write, darkness permeates the space outside my home. In a few hours, the sun will rise. I have faith that it will because it is an action that I have lived, that I have come to count on each day. You and I trust that the sun will rise and later set in the evening.
- We have “faith” in this daily action.
- What does it look like to REALLY LOVE?
Often, one hears how LOVE is not just a feeling but something that must be experienced, meaning—LOVE is an action.
When you consider the LOVE GOD HAS DEMONSTATED, do you realize that God’s Love experienced is not a vague feeling or an emotion.
GOD’S LOVE IS REAL
And, you can know it is real LOVE because He demonstrated it, putting HIS LOVE into action—for you.
“By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him.
(The First Letter of John 4: 9-10 NASB)
In this is love,
not that we loved God,
but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”
Proof!!!!
Jesus Christ left heaven and came down to this sinful world where you live, and He laid down His life, willingly stretched out His arms and His feet, allowing Himself to be nailed to the cross of Calvary.
And get this—JESUS DIED FOR YOU—WHILE YOU WERE STILL A SINNER.
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us,

in that while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us.”
God provided for you when you had noting to offer, when you were lost without HOPE, and when you were headed to hell, with NO HOPE for eternity in heaven with Him forever.
FIND HOPE—for you cannot stand perfect before God.
You can only FIND HOPE through faith in Jesus Christ.
- Do not doubt God’s Love for you.
- Do not doubt Christ’s Work on the cross, dying for you.
Do not doubt BUT SEE THE TRUTH of GOD’S LOVE poured out as drops of His precious blood His Only Son, Jesus, shed for you.
So, we sing,
