We live in a world where people want to see to believe. Often, we overhear others saying, “If I see it with my own eyes, then I will believe this or that is actually true.” Thus, we also live in a world where people struggle to see God. They love the beauty found in creation; yet they refuse to see the Creator. They desire to be blessed by the work of their hands; yet they refuse to thank the One who provided them the place and position to work. They wish to live in a comfortable home, one of safety and protection; yet they refuse to acknowledge the Protector who provides for their every need.

These descriptors describe those who choose NOT to believe in God and in His Son who came to provide salvation to those who believe. However, what can we say about those of us who HAVE chosen to believe in God and His saving and redeeming grace?

• Are we asking the Lord for gospel opportunities to share our testimony?
• Are we absolutely convinced that the gospel is true for ALL, just as it was for us?
• Are we 100% sure that the One in whom we believe is TRUTH and NOT an imposter?
• Would we willing say to one who has not yet encountered the Son of God, “Jesus really was sent by God to save us from our sins” and then begin to share our story, telling of all the ways the Lord has changed our lives?
• Do we really believe Jesus truly is the risen Son of God sent to save ALL?
• If we DO believe, then how can we remain silent, keeping the truth of God to ourselves?

The apostle Paul wrote to Titus, a man who shared a common faith and the one who was to remain in Crete to help set order. Paul wrote, telling Titus to remind the people how they should live and how they were to testify to those who lived around them.

God saved us. How would we describe our salvation to an unbeliever, to one who is lost?

God saved us. Can we describe the difference found between God’s righteousness and man’s unrighteous and sinful ways?

God saved us. What exactly is God’s mercy and grace, and are they truly free? How can we describe God’s offer of mercy, telling another how God gave us His salvation, something we could never earn by our own merit and NOT giving us that which we rightly deserved?

God saved us. How can we describe the way God completely washed us clean, how he covered our past sins, our present sins, and our future sins with the precious blood of Christ Jesus?

God saved us. What would it be like to walk one single day without God’s Spirit leading us, and what words can we speak that would help another to truly see the importance of God’s Holy Spirit dwelling deep within us, leading us, speaking through us, sanctifying us, and preparing us for eternity in heaven, where we dwell in God’s presence forever?

Almighty God has saved us, not because of anything we have done but because of His Amazing love.

One day, so very soon, our eternity will reveal God’s gracious love for us, for all who have believed in Jesus. May we be willing to open our mouths, to share with others that we have NOT earned our salvation, that ONLY BY GOD’S GRACE are we saved. There is nothing that you or I could ever do that would merit salvation. Believe on Him, on God—that is the only way. As we do, God declares the ungodly, the unrighteous—saved and now in right standing with God.

This is how much God loves us.

This is why we should never forget that we are surrounded by others who have not received salvation.

This is the message we must share with unbelievers:  God loves us so much that He willing gave His Son’s life for us.
