Wearing the ‘Right’ Clothes
Do we sometimes ask:
“God, where are you?”
Do we often face trying struggles, and exclaim:
“Lord, oh how I need You. Help me get through this.”
Ladies, how many times have we stood inside our closets and thought, ‘I have nothing to wear’? True, our closet is blessed with hanging racks, filled with hangers, covered by numerous garments, all hanging there, inside our closet, side-by-side.
Yet, we have nothing to wear!
Ladies, how many times have we heard these words, “Honey, what should I wear? OR my favorite, “Honey, what shirt should I wear?” During these conversations, we stand in one room, while the one we love stands in the closet, peering at all the possibilities. I must admit my standard reply: “Wear something with sleeves” does not bring my husband a step closer to the decision because normally he just WEARS WHATEVER HE WANTS TO WEAR!
- True Faith looks to God.
- True Faith desires the Lord and nothing else.
“Although the Lord has given you bread of privation . . .”
Although we may find ourselves in times of lacking, when what we need seems so scarce,
STILL OUR RIGHTEOUS IS FOUND IN HIM!
“Although the Lord has given you bread of privation and water of oppression, . . “
Although we may find ourselves in seasons of trials, when what we must carry seems so heavy,
STILL OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS IS FOUND IN HIM!
“He, your Teacher will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will behold your Teacher.”
- Wearing the ‘Right’ Clothes requires that we first believe in Jesus.
- Wearing the ‘Right’ Clothes demands that we accept the TRUTH found in Jesus.
- Wearing the ‘Right’ Clothes allows our Savior to become our Teacher.
- Wearing the ‘Right’ Clothes gives God the ‘RIGHT’ to guide us as we walk through this earthly life.
“This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left.”
- We walk by faith, hearing our Savior say to us, as we go: “This is the way, walk in it,”
- We walk by faith, hearing our Lord command, as we follow Him: “This is the way, walk in it,”
- We walk by faith, hearing our Redeemer whisper, so that we do not veer off-path: “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left.”
We who believe in Jesus, have received His promise of LOVE & GRACE.
We who accept Jesus Christ as our Savior are full of HOPE.
We who confess our sins and confess Jesus as our Lord are SAVED, through the the Promise of Father God.
Thus, when we walk through our days, wearing garments found in the flesh, we are to walk—
Wearing the ‘Right’ Clothes—HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS!
THE LORD REMAINS GRACIOUS TO US & RISES UP TO SHOW HIS MERCY TO US!
