The LORD Brings More!
- Have we really considered the prayers we are lifting to the LORD?
- Are we faithfully, specifically praying for those we know we should?
- Do we allow sufficient space in our daily lives to be led by the Holy Spirit to do the work as the hands & as the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ?
- Are we doing the work that God Himself has already prepared for us, yes fore-planned this particular work for us to do, even before we were born?
Truly—
Are We Prepared for the Glad Reunion Day—
- When We Will Stand Before the LORD &
- He Measures Out Our Good Works Done in the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ?
The LORD Brings More “to those already gathered.”
The Bible tells us so!
In fact, the Savior of the world, Jesus Himself, speaks this truth.
- We are the church of the living God!
- We are to be receptive to all who place their faith in Jesus.
- We are to disciple them, pray for them, teach them, mentor them, & lead by example the way the Holy Spirit leads us to go.
- We are to be prayer warriors for, interceding for those who do not yet believe & for our brothers and sisters-in-Christ, the body of the Lord Jesus Christ, the church of the living, incarnate Almighty God!
- We are to live every day of our lives as a living sacrifice to our LORD.
- We are to be witnesses of Him.
As we do, the LORD promises—
- He will reward us some day when we arrive home to heaven. &
- He will bring MORE to work alongside us, “to those [of us] already gathered.”
Faith ‘works out’ the salvation we have received.
Faith actively works wherever the LORD places us—His children—to do the tasks His Holy Spirit leads us to do.
- Can a person claim to be a child of God & not love others as Jesus taught?
- Can a person profess Jesus as his Savior & not love his neighbor more than himself?
- Can a person say he is a Christian & not—LOVE GOD—MOST of ALL—more than himself & his own selfish desires?
The LORD Brings More “to those already gathered” !
- We can read the Holy Bible to be reminded of the actions of Abraham & how it was credited to his as righteousness.
- We can read the Word of God to recall the actions of Rahab & remember all over again how her entire family was saved through her faithful obedience.
- We can also be reminded how the Father allowed the genealogy of His Only Son Jesus to be aligned with hers, how the name of ‘Rahab’ is listed among the faithful ones who led to the birth of Jesus.
We are not saved by our works, but by our works,
- the world sees our faith &
- comes to know Jesus as their Savior & Lord.
