Morning Thoughts

A walk through life toward eternity

HE Has a Plan, Yes, God Surely Does!

“Now it came about in the six hundred and first year, in the first month, on the first of the month, the water was dried up from the earth.  Then Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and behold, the surface of the ground was dried up.
In the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dry.
Then God spoke to Noah, saying,
“Go out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and your sons’ wives with you.”

(Genesis 8: 13-16 NASB)

601st year.

1st month.

1st day of that 1st month.

God allows Noah to remove the opening and peer outside.

2nd month.

27th day of that 2nd month.

  • God caused a wind to pass over the earth &
  • God caused the flood water to recede

May we read the account of Noah and the ark to see the Truth—

HE Has a Plan, Yes, God Surely Does!

“Then the LORD spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tent of meeting, on the first of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
“Take a census of all the congregation of the sons of Israel, by their families, by their fathers’ households, according to the number of names, every male, head by head
from twenty years old and upward, whoever is able to go out to war in Israel, you and Aaron shall number them by their armies.”

(Numbers 1: 1-3 NASB)

1st day of the 2nd month.

2nd year after leaving the Egyptian captivity.

  • God commanded His chosen leader Moses to take a count.
  • God commanded Moses’ brother Aaron to help take the head count.
  • God commanded the twelve tribes of Israel to be counted.
  • God commanded the men to be numbered by their households, by their fathers’ names, by the twelve tribes of Israel.
  • God commanded the men twenty years and up to stand a particular way—side-by-side.

God had a purpose:  to go to war, to take the land God Himself promised to His chosen ones, to Israel.

May we read the account of Moses and the children of Israel to see the Truth—

HE Has a Plan, Yes, God Surely Does!

I wonder what plan God has for you, for your life, for your day.

I also wonder the same for myself.

Today is important to the LORD God.

  • May we be willing to be counted among the saints of God.
  • May we be willing to listen, to hear the voice of God speak.
  • May we be willing to do the work the Holy Spirit leads us to do.
  • May we be willing to do something, whatever God commands us to do, something that will outlive our lives.

May we be willing because it is so easy to see the Truth—

HE Has a Plan, Yes, God Surely Does!

“Behold, to the LORD your God belong heaven and the highest heavens, the earth
and all that is in it.”

(Deuteronomy 10: 14 NASB)
