During life we carry so many things.
Some heavy.
Some light.
Some invisible.
Some within our hearts.
Some balanced upon our shoulders and arms.
Some things we carry for years and some for the briefest minute.
Some things we enjoy carrying, and some, not so much.
Some things we drop as soon as we can, and we hold onto, even after we place them on the ground.
During life, we carry so many things.
So the questions become—Should we? & If so, then WHY? &
Should we carry (you know)—OUR THINGS, OUR BURDENS…….ONLY? OR
Should we also carry—-OTHERS’ THINGS, OTHERS’ BURDENS? & If so, then WHY? &
If we do pick up and carry a burden, a something large, a heaviness (ours or another’s), when can we throw up our hands and exclaim to anyone listening, “That’s enough.  I am surely DONE (carrying this heavy thing)!”
Debt.  Concerns.  Guilt.  Loss.    Pain Caused & Pain Received.  Regret.  Secrets.  Future Dreams.  Family Oddities.  Personal Sins.
“And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased”  (Hebrews 13: 16).
“Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ”  (Galatians 6: 2).
“And though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,
Obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls”  (1 Peter 1: 8-9).
We carry the deep LOVE within us, secure, heaven-sent, and acceptable, given to us by the Father, forever ours, unearned, undeserved, freely given & freely received.    Clearly, we did nothing to earn, or to buy, or to trade for, or to even grow—-This amazing love of God we carry deep within our hearts, souls, and minds.   WE DID NOTHING, BUT HE DID IT ALL.    GOD’S LOVE IS ALL HIS TO GIVE.  &  GOD DOES NOT WITHHOLD HIS LOVE (EVER) FROM THE WORLD.
He loved first………GOD DID!!!
So, once we are His, we are called to carry the gospel into the world, and this beautiful “good news” of God’s is so easy to carry because God’s love is carried in serving others, in doing good.  Let us not neglect, but let us ask God what He desires of us on this day.  He will give us a good deed to carry to another.
Christ Jesus was never too busy to pause, to willingly carry another’s burdens, to lift the heaviness from another’s shoulders and place it upon His own.  God’s love is carried in helping others, in doing for them what they cannot do for themselves. Let us be more like Jesus on this day than we were yesterday. 
We (ALL) carry the guilt of sins deep within us, maybe hidden to the world, and maybe well-seen; yet, God does not leave us there, covered in our sins. God gave us Jesus, His only Son. YES, Jesus Christ, given to each one of us…….Individually…….to you and to me….Jesus carried ALL OUR SINS upon the cross of Calvary so that we can receive God’s perfect gift of salvation.  So, even though we cannot see God with our physical eyes, we can see His love for us, and we love Him, and we carry God’s love deep within us once we believe.    God’s deep peace and inexpressible joy is given to those who believe—-FAITH IN GOD & HIS SALVATION—-It gives us wings as we carry His love to the world.
During life, we carry so many things.
Let us (today) take serious the truth of God we carry into the world.
Thank You God for this wonderful gift of salvation You give to us……..
