The ONLY WAY to 100% Heaven-Sent Comfort & Peace & Life
“Do you know the way to . . .?”
That was the question the man asked me on that summer day as we sat side-by-side at the stop light, waiting for the green light.
“Sure,” I replied.
Then I proceeded to tell him the “wrong” way to go.
My family laughs at the memory of this day.
I hurt at the memory because I just know that man must have cursed the lady who gave him the “wrong” directions.
You see, it was not intentional—my wrong directions, but the way I described was just not clear.
You see, there were many ways to arrive to the destination he sought, so I consider the best, fastest way to arrive, and in describing that way to him, I found that I forgot there were “distractions” & “other roads” the man would come to on his way to “the way” I described.
Clearly, I never dreamed he would turn down one of “the other roads—THE WRONG WAY” on his way to the destination that he wished to go.
What is the way to pure comfort & peace & eternal life?
TRULY, THERE IS BUT ONLY ONE WAY!
Do not believe me but believe the Word of God.
Turn with me to the book of John and hear Jesus Himself explain this TRUTH.
“Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.
(John 14: 1-6 NASB)
In My Father’s house are many rooms; if that were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you.”
[Jesus is speaking directly to His disciples
—those of the 1st Century &
—those of us in this current century.]
“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I am coming again and will take you to Myself, so that where I am, there you also will be.
And you know the way where I am going.”
Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going; how do we know the way?”
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.”
To have Christ Jesus in our heart is to have eternal life—it is God’s Faithful Promise!
To take the path to the Father, we must go the exclusive way—the ONLY way through Jesus!
To have perfect peace with God—the ONLY SON of GOD had to die, to sacrifice Himself to prepare THE WAY!
JESUS IS TRUTH!
JESUS IS PEACE!
JESUS IS COMFORT!
For every person who believes in Jesus—TO HAVE CHRIST IS TO HAVE LIFE!
“The ONLY WAY” to 100% Heaven-Sent Comfort & Peace & Life—IS THROUGH JESUS!
May we lead others to know “THE WAY”!
Think about what God did for us. God sent His Only Son to sacrificially die for our sins. God did not send to earth a “so-so” gift, but God sent His Most-Precious Gift, His Earth-Shattering Gift, & His BEST GIFT. GOD DID THAT—FOR YOU & FOR ME!
AND JESUS CHRIST DID NOT COME TO DIE OVER & OVER & OVER & OVER.
JESUS CHRIST OUR SAVIOR ONLY NEEDED TO DIE ONE SINGLE TIME—TO PROVIDE “THE ONLY WAY TO GOD!”
“For Christ did not enter a holy place made by hands, a mere copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;
(Hebrews 9: 24-28 NASB)
nor was it that He would offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the Holy Place year by year with blood that is not his own.
Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now once at the consummation of the ages He has been revealed to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.
And just as it is destined for people to die once, and after this comes judgment,
so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.”

- “THE ONLY WAY” to 100% HEAVEN-SENT COMFORT—IS THROUGH JESUS!
- “THE ONLY WAY” to PERFECT PEACE—IS THROUGH JESUS!
- “THE ONLY WAY” to ETERNAL LIFE, FOREVERMORE WITH GOD—IS THROUGH JESUS!
Truly, Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the Redeemer, the Savior of all mankind provides THE ONLY WAY to KNOW GOD! &
Jesus ONLY NEEDED TO DIE ONE TIME to provide THE ONLY WAY to receive the GIFT OF GOD’S SALVATION!
“For we say this to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will not precede those who have fallen asleep.”
(1 Thessalonians 4: 15-18 NASB)
[The Apostle Paul is speaking of those Christian saints who have already passed away}
“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.”
[The Apostle Paul is describing the Second Coming of Jesus Christ the Messiah & Savior of the world.]
“Then we who are alive, who remain,”
[The Apostle Paul is speaking of the Christians who are alive at the moment when Jesus comes again to earth.]
“will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air,
and so we will always be with the Lord.
Therefore, comfort one another with these words.”
On this day, a friend, a co-worker, a family member, or a complete stranger may ask us if we know “the way” to peace and comfort.
May we not brush off this opportunity to share Jesus!
May we never send them in search of the wrong ways this world offers!
May we be ready to share—JESUS CHRIST—with them!
