Morning Thoughts

A walk through life toward eternity

He Who Holds The Stars, Holds You & Holds Me!

Some people have it all together.  They juggle what appears to be sixteen tasks at once and never seem flustered, and possibly, we have three tasks to do on any given day, and we fall into bed at night knowing that we chased our tasks “our proverbial tail” all day, & now we’re just so thankful we MADE IT through the day.
How?  How Do They Do it? & How do they make it through every day……Rested…..Secure…..Sustained?

We call them “organized,” and we say we are thankful we have less to do, but in reality, we wish we could juggle more (as they do) because THEN we would look (for the world to see) more busy and more organized.
Well, first, it is sinful to feel envious, and sin is of the devil and sin is what separates us from God, so if we are dealing with envy of others’ schedules, then pause right here and seek God’s forgiveness.
But, let’s also look at “how” we can work as unto the LORD & “how” we can do all that we know God is leading us to do & “how” we can finish our day & climb into bed each night—-NOT—-FEELING totally exhausted and totally stretched?
Jesus was always busy; Jesus was never rushed.
Jesus was always going to the next place; yet, Jesus was never too busy to stop by and heal.
Jesus was always teaching others, but He always had time to talk with the person who needed to speak with Him one-to-one.
Jesus is the Son of God and the Son of Man—meaning Jesus is both God and Human—-Jesus knows exactly how we are feeling because He is God and our Creator & He is God in the flesh. & He knows exactly what our flesh and bones can endure.
Jesus was always busy; Jesus was never rushed.

What tasks do we have on today’s calendar? Have we prayed over them yet?

Let’s pause right now and pray, asking God to give us His guidance and His purpose as we go about our tasks for this day. Then let’s go.

Let’s do, knowing and remembering as we go that our LORD goes with us.  We never leave Him behind; we never leave our God sitting on a shelf somewhere in our homes; NO, our God is alive, and He walks with us as we go.

“What then shall we say to these things?  If God is for us, who is against us?

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?

Who will bring a charge against God’s elect?  God is the One who justifies; who is the One who condemns?  Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us” (Romans 8: 31-34).

As expected, there is a melody by We are Messengers titled “It’s Okay,” and this song speaks God’s truth—–“Maybe it’s okay if I’m not okay because the One who holds the stars is holding onto me.”

Let’s not be envious of others today.  &
Let us not ever attempt to do this thing called “TODAY” alone.  &
Let us forever know that once we accept Jesus as LORD and belong to God—-once we are God’s children—He who holds the stars in place within the universe is always holding onto us, walking with us, helping us, sustaining us.    &
Let us never forget that God is for us.

Let us forever remember that God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, who died for each one of us, BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, God raised His Son back to life.
Let us continually be calmed by the fact that Our Savior ascended back to heaven & sat down beside God, & our Savior intercedes for us.
Let us remember……“If God is for us, who is against us?” (Romans 8:31).

So, Let us walk confidently into our today, knowing—-

GOD NEVER LETS US GO ONCE WE ARE HIS, & GOD’S GOT US TODAY, DESPITE WHATEVER OUR DAY MAY HOLD!!!

Then, when we arise tomorrow (our new day filled with new pressures and stressors), well, then our God is there too…..with us…..in our tomorrow!!! &

How do we know God’s got us?

It’s so easy—–because the One who holds the stars is holding onto you and me!!!
