We can pray for A—MIRACLE!
I am praying for a miracle, and I know of only one person who has the power to supply a miracle.
I am praying for miracles (plural), and I know of only one person (Almighty God, the Creator) who can supply miracles.
I am praying for the miracles of God to come, to permeate the lives, the situations, the trials others are facing, and I know God can supply a miracle within their lives.
I am praying for the miracles of God to change world leaders, to alter their thinking, to bring peace to situations that continue to escalate even as I write.
I am praying for a miracle, for more than one, and as God’s children, collectively, we can come together, we can fast, we can prepare our hearts, we can bow, and we can intercede through our prayers.
We can pray.
We can pray.
We can pray.
We can pray.
We are a mighty army, like Gideon’s mighty army of 300 soldiers surrounding Jericho.
We are a mighty army of believers praising God (like Gideon’s army against a huge force).
We are mighty, despite our number because God is our guide, our hope, our future, our king.
We can bow upon our knees, and we can pray.
What are we praying for today? We can pray for A—MIRACLE!
What do we seek to gain, to know, to gather today? At the touch of our fingertips, we can have knowledge in seconds. Retile the bathroom—we have the knowledge; Restore our old 66’ Ford Mustang—we have the information necessary; Re-Invent & Refurbish a piece of furnish or an old house—we have the YouTube video for a step-by-step guide. We have all the knowledge we need to walk through most of the days, situations, and stressors we may ever face, but then what? When our life is complete, what will we do with all our information? Where will we place all this information so that it does not become outdated, or rusty, or moldy, or broken, or tarnished? We can hoard and gather and store and rent storage units and build barns and open bank accounts and do so many things to make room for all the information and “stuff” we have gathered, but when our life is complete, what will we do then—with all that we have gathered?
Yesterday, I attended one of the most beautiful celebrations of life I have ever attended. As we cried, grieved, mourned, and wished that Debbie had been able to overcome her battle with cancer—We also sang praises, smiled, spoke words of happy days, rejoiced, and celebrated the life that Debbie knew in Jesus Christ. Yesterday was beautiful. Yesterday was a look forward into the future. Yesterday was a look back into the past. Yesterday was a stand still in the present, raise our hands in praise to the King of Kings and sing “Hallelujah to Almighty God.”
What are we praying for today? We can pray for A—MIRACLE!
Knowledge of God is infinitely more valuable than anything else we can store within our brains.
We can pray for God to rescue those who remain lost.
We can pray for God to send physical healing to those who endure, who are caught in sickness.
We can pray for God to bring peace to those who endure war.
We can pray for God to meet the needs of our neighbors.
We can pray for God to provide the resources we need to help others.
We can pray for God to provide the guidance we need to reach those who are suffering.
We can pray for God to receive our thankfulness for giving us all that we will ever need.
We can pray for God to end the wars that rage within the world and within people’s hearts.
We can pray for God to open people’s eyes so they may see the miracle of God.
We can pray for God to send His mercy.
We can pray for God to protect his missionaries who are across the globe.
We can pray for God to equip his ambassadors (us) as we go into the world around us.
We can pray for God to equip the believers as they go into the world.
We can pray for God to honor our praise of HIM as we give HIM all glory, honor, & praise.
We can pray for A—MIRACLE—today!
We have been given the power through the Holy Spirit of God—to PRAY!
We received power, might, and everything we EVER NEEDED when we received Jesus!
Whatever we have done through the Holy Spirit of God is worth so much more than anything we have stored or gained or purchased or acquired here upon earth. We know this to be true because Jesus Himself spoke the words for us to see. READ GOD’S WORD WITH ME.
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.
But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal;
for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
(Matthew 6: 19-21)
What are we praying for today?
May we REMEMBER—We can pray for A—MIRACLE!
May we fast, may we prepare our hearts, may we bow down upon our knees, and may we intercede through our prayers lifted to GOD!
It is a MIGHTY POWER we have received—the power to PRAY!
Are we praying as if we BELIEVE in God’s Mighty Power?!
When we say, “I will remember to pray,” do we really REMEMBER to pray?!
When we PRAY, are we praying with ALL AUTHORITY that’s been given to us?!
What are we praying for today?
Let us take serious our prayer-life!
May we REMEMBER—We can PRAY!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY—LESLEY VINES—MISSIONARY to Zambia.
