May We Stir Hearts As We Go
Have we ever encountered someone who had never met Jesus? Maybe that seems improbable in the area where we live, but is it….really impossible? Not Really.
Have we ever encountered someone who never met a Christ follower? Maybe we think, “There is no way! Everyone we know attends church or at least knows someone who attends church.”
But….there are people surrounding us at work, sitting beside us in the lounge, pushing their carts in the stores, and doing service jobs in our homes……Every Day, and oftentimes, these people have not encountered a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, and they certainly have not met the person of Jesus.
So, the question becomes—WHY NOT?
We may live in small-town America OR we may live in a European city OR we may even live in the jungle of a remote village. Where we live has so little to do with the question of WHY.
- IF we are truly living out our faith every day as we walk through our lives.
- So rather than a question of WHY, we now have a question of WHY NOT?
- IF we are Christians, then why are we not outwardly living for Jesus so much so that people see “Christ” living through us?
- IF we are followers of Christ, then why are we not “following” wherever God leads us, despite where that location might be?
- IF we are believers in God, then why are we not doing His will each day, “believing” that God’s got our this?
- Why are we Not?!!!
LIVING?
FOLLOWING?
BELIEVING?
WHY ARE WE NOT ARISING EVERY DAY & FALLING UPON OUR KNEES, SEEKING GOD’S WILL FOR THIS—OUR ONE DAY?
At the moment of our salvation, we are given such wonder-working power. We only need to walk with Jesus. May we each stand, may we walk, may we sit beside, and may we vocally proclaim Jesus—-Amazed.
Sometimes it just seems impossible to reach all the people of the world for Christ Jesus, but that’s the beautiful part of following Jesus. God speaks through His Holy Spirit, prompting us to talk to ONE PERSON.
YES. THAT’S IT. JUST ONE.
In the Bible, we read this proclamation given to the young man, Timothy.
People—-EVERYWHERE—-Have NOT Yet met Jesus.
People—-EVERYWHERE—-Have NOT Yet met a Christ-follower.
People—-EVERYWHERE—-Have not Yet heard the Word of God proclaimed.
May we labor today, joyfully sharing Jesus as we walk through this one gift of a day.
We will see how God changes lives as we DO.
We will see how God changes hearts as we FOLLOW.
May We Stir Hearts As We Go
We will see how God changes people as we BELIEVE & witness of the one in whom we BELIEVE.
We will see change—as we are allowing God to change us.
