We can start right here
Has it ever occurred to you that NOTHING HAS EVER OCCURRED TO GOD?
That’s correct: God knows everything!
Dwell upon the TRUTH—GOD KNOWS ALL THINGS!
Do you ever consider how we know our beginning BUT GOD KNOWS THE END OF ALL THINGS?
That’s correct: God already sees THAT DAY when He will come again to judge the earth.
Dwell upon the TRUTH—THERE’S A GREAT DAY COMING!
“Being then the children of God,
(The Acts of the Apostles 17: 29-31 NASB)
we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone,
an image formed by the art and thought of man.
Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance,
God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent,
because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness
through a Man whom He has appointed,
having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead.”
- God sees us & God knows us.
- God sees our present & God knows our past.
- God sees our sins & God offers His grace.
The apostle Peter wrote about an undeniable TRUTH—the love of Almighty God.
“The Lord is not slow about His promise,
(The 2nd Letter of Peter 3:9 NASB)
as some count slowness,
but is patient toward you,
not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.”
God wants us to look ahead, to focus on His love for us. He wants His children to walk as they are in Him: Alive and as ambassadors for His Gospel message. Now, if we are honest, oftentimes, this can be difficult for we are a sinful humanity, and our sinful thoughts, sinful reactions, and sinful words can just get in our way so much of the time. We ‘react’ way too quickly when what we should do is take IT to God in prayer. Then there are times when we ‘think’ ungodly thoughts way too fast when what we should do is take OUR THOUGHTS to God in prayer. We ‘take action’ when maybe what we really should do is pray first and then tie on our shoes and do whatever the Holy Spirit leads us to do.
- The prophet Habakkuk spoke to the believers, a message still applicable to believers today. May we read the prophet’s words &
- May we heed the Lord’s prompting &
- May we witness, testifying to those we encounter this day.
Whether we are coaching T-ball, teaching students, shopping for groceries, eating a meal at the local restaurant, sharing lunch with a co-worker, driving an Uber, racing through the airport to catch a flight, raising our children, attending to our parents, sitting across from our family at the dinner table, or walking through our neighborhood.
We are to be a living billboard of the Gospel.
“Look among the nations! Observe!
(The Book of Habakkuk 1: 5 NASB)
Be astonished! Wonder!
Because I am doing something in your days—
You would not believe if you were told.”
- We can start right here and go anywhere the Lord leads us to go.
- We can start right here and say whatever the Lord leads us to say.
Sons and daughters of the Most High King, may we GO & may we SPEAK because
JESUS PROMISED—HE IS COMING!
