Why We Were Created
“but just as it is written,
(The First Letter of Paul to the Corinthians 2: 9 NASB)
“THINGS WHICH EYE HAS NOT SEEN AND EAR HAS NOT HEARD,
AND WHICH HAVE NOT ENTERED THE HEART OF MAN,
ALL THAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.”
- How could we know?
- How could we figure it out with just our humanness?
We cannot.
We cannot know or figure IT out—without faith in God.
The Bible declares it so.
The LORD gave the words to His apostle Paul to record within the Holy Scriptures, so that we might begin to see the Truth of God—HIS AMAZING GRACE—as God designed it to be.
“For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified,
(The First Letter of Paul to the Corinthians 2: 2-5 NASB)
I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling,
and my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom,
but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of men,
but [would rest] on the power of God.”
Faith cannot be founded on shifting sand of doubt and disappointment.
We who believe cannot worry about what others think because we, who are Christ-followers, cannot become so human-focused, but we must walk in God’s Truth instead.
- We are created to search God’s plan for us.
- We are created to seek Him, to ask questions, to find Him.
- We are created to be amazed by God’s mystery.
Human wisdom cannot comprehend how much our Creator loves us OR that He has prepared His eternal glory for us.
We cannot receive IT (GOD’S GRACE) without faith in Jesus!
Before time began, God’s plan was to sacrifice His only Son to pay for the sins of mankind, to make IT possible for those who believe, to make the Way for His People to share in His glory forever.
Is it not amazing when the Word of God provides us the TRUTH of GOD in the Old Testament and then reiterates it again in the New Testament? The words of God given to the apostle Paul were first given to God’s prophet Isaiah. Truly Amazing!
GOD IS THE OMNISCIENT, OMNIPRESENT & OMNIPOTENT GIVER OF ETERNAL LIFE!
Since this is so, there will always be parts of God that are a mystery to us, mankind, who is finite, frail, temporal & earthly.
GOD IS TOO GREAT FOR OUR FULL COMPREHENSION!
We simply must TRUST the TRUTH of the BIBLE!
GOD’S AMAZING GRACE IS ONLY ATTAINABLE THROUGH FAITH!
Nevertheless, God’s secret wisdom has always been to provide for His People.
“For from days of old they have not heard or perceived by ear,
(The Book of Isaiah 64: 4 NASB)
Nor has the eye seen a God besides You,
Who acts in behalf of the one who waits for Him.”
- We must fear God, be in awe of Him & live-out His will, not our own.
- We who have been redeemed cannot walk anxiety-filled.
- We who believe must walk anxiety-free, boldly marching on toward our eternity—unafraid.
- We who love God have the assurance, the promised Holy Spirit placed within us.
- We who await His Coming, who have received the promise of God.
JESUS PROMISED HIS HELPER, HIS STAY—HIS HOLY SPIRIT!
This is Why We Were Created.
- We are created to search God’s plan for us.
- We are created to seek Him, to ask questions, to find Him.
- We are created to be amazed by God’s mystery.
