The ONLY WAY Possible!
“And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us,
(The Gospel According to John 1: 14 NASB)
and we saw His glory,
glory as of the only begotten from the Father,
full of grace and truth.”
- Adam knew God in perfect harmony, in intimacy & Adam walked with God in the Garden of Eden.
The Bible tells us so!
BUT THEN—
- The first man Adam and his wife Eve sinned against God—causing a chasm, a separation between mankind and God—one that continues still today!
From that moment (Genesis 3) man has been born in iniquity, born in sin!
- Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Joshua, Ruth, Nehemiah, Ezra the priest, Esther, David & Solomon all spoke of this separation that existed between mankind and God!
So many words given to man, words inspired by God, words shared to remind us how our soul is eternally separated from Almighty God & in desperate need of God’s Salvation!
We can read Psalms given through God to David and some others, reminding us how we are each born SINFUL & in need of a Savior!
- Isaiah, Jeremiah, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, & Haggai (the prophets) all prophesied about the way mankind’s sin separates him from Holy God & also assuring us of “the second coming” of the Messiah!
- Zechariah & Malachi even prophesied about the “coming day” when Jesus Christ will return!
The thirty-nine books within the Old Testament section of the Holy Bible tell us so!
Then, there comes a period of silence—400 Years of Silence—orchestrated by Almighty God!
The Bible tells us so!
AND THEN—
- God sent John the Baptist, who came to proclaim & testify of the coming of the Messiah, telling the world how “the Word became flesh” & how HE “dwelt among us” & testifying to the listening world how it truly was true—
“we saw His glory,
glory as of the only begotten from the Father,
full of grace and truth.”
The twenty-seven books within the New Testament section of the Holy Bible tell us so!
- Four God-Inspired Gospels!
- The Acts of the Apostles!
- And Letter after Letter penned by men inspired by Almighty God, sent to the early churches scattered across the known world!
Chapter after chapter & verse after verse—the NEW TESTAMENT of GOD’S HOLY WORD—given to us to KNOW that we KNOW that we KNOW!
The TRUTH of JESUS CHRIST, THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD, sent from HEAVEN TO EARTH for you & for me!
- JESUS CAME TO DIE!
- JESUS CAME TO BE RAISED FROM THE TOMB!
- JESUS REVEALED HIS RESURRECTED BODY TO OVER 500 INDIVIDUALS!
The Bible tells us so!
TRULY, THERE EXISTS NO OTHER Holy Word of God!
Jesus was NOT resuscitated.
JESUS WAS RESURRECTED FROM THE DEAD!
NEVER will mankind EVER find the buried bones of JESUS CHRIST!
- EASTER SUNDAY—
- RESURRECTION SUNDAY—
- JESUS’ RESURRECTION FROM DEATH TO LIFE!
This is essential, crucial & in fact critical to the Christian faith!
IT CANNOT BE REFUTED!
BECAUSE IT CAN BE PROVEN!
“So the other disciples were saying to him,
(The Gospel According to John 20: 25-28 NASB)
[The chosen disciples were talking to the disciple Thomas who had not been present in the Upper Room when Jesus came into them, showing Himself in His Resurrected Body from the grave]
“We have seen the Lord!”
But he said to them,
[Thomas did]
“Unless I see in His hands the imprint of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into His side,
I will not believe.”
After eight days His disciples were again inside,
[there in the Upper Room]
and Thomas with them.
Jesus came, the doors having been shut,
[locked tight from within]
and stood in their midst and said,
“Peace be with you.”
Then He said to Thomas,
“Reach here with your finger, and see My hands;
and reach here your hand and put it into My side;
and do not be unbelieving, but believing.”
Thomas answered and said to Him
[Thomas said these words to the Lord Jesus Christ,
to the Messiah & the Savior of the world]
“My Lord and My God!”
AFTER 40 DAYS—
AFTER SEEN IN GLORIFIED FORM—
AFTER ALL THESE OCCURRENCES—
- JESUS ASCENDED BACK TO HEAVEN!
- JESUS SAT DOWN ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE THRONE OF GOD!
DO NOT MISS THIS!
- JESUS REMAINS PRESENTLY SEATED UNTIL THE DAY HE STANDS & RETURNS TO GATHER THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN SAVED & TO BRING GOD’S JUDGMENT ON ALL WHO REFUSE TO BELIEVE IN & ACCEPT HIM!
YES, JESUS WILL COME AGAIN!
So, the next question comes to our minds:
WHY WOULD GOD DO THIS FOR US?
The Answer: THE FATHER DID ALL THIS—JUST FOR ONE SOLITARY REASON!
So you & I can come to know GOD through HIS GIFT of SALVATION!
Truly, it’s quite insulting when someone proclaims how his religion, how in fact all religions, are true and are all alike. Also quite insulting when others state how their book is just like the Holy Word of God. During the course of my life, I have encountered several who have openly and empathically made these claims.
The world states: Whatever a person believes, whatever the majority might believe, what is read, what can be stated as the many ways to get heaven—Is totally open to everyone’s unique belief.
THIS THINKING IS UTTERLY HOGWASH!
THAT THINKING IS JUST NOT TRUE!
Do we honestly think Father God would have sent His Only Begotten Son
- to suffer,
- to hang upon the cross of Calvary for six excruciating hours,
- to die,
- to be buried, and in fact,
- to remain dead inside a tomb, proving to the world beyond all doubt—HE TRULY WAS DEAD—
IF THERE HAD BEEN ANOTHER POSSIBLE WAY TO BE SAVED?!!!
Do we think the Creator of the world would have had His Only Begotten Son suffer such as this—IF THERE WAS MORE THAN ONE WAY TO GET TO HEAVEN?!!!
OR
Do we think Almighty God would have required His Only Begotten Son pay the penalty for all humanity’s sins—if all religions & if all cult followings of this world were true?!!!
TRULY, (to think there is more than one way or even many ways to ‘get to heaven’) THIS IS TOTALLY PREPOSTEROUS!!!
“But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels,
(The Letter to the Hebrews 2: 9 NASB)
namely, Jesus,
because of the suffering of death
crowned with glory and honor,
so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.”
