“Moses said, ‘THE LORD GOD WILL RAISE UP FOR YOU A PROPHET
(The Acts of the Apostles 3: 22-26 NASB)
LIKE ME FROM YOUR BRETHREN;
TO HIM YOU SHALL GIVE HEED
to everything He says to you.
‘And it will be that every soul that does not heed that prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’
And likewise, all the prophets who have spoken, from Samuel and his successors onward, also announced these days.
It is you who are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant which God made with your fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘AND IN YOUR SEED ALL THE FAMILIES OF THE EARTH SHALL BE BLESSED.’
For you first, God raised up His Servant and sent Him to bless you
by turning every one of you from your wicked ways.”
Oftentimes, we may say in closing, “May God Bless You.” As I read the final words of Peter’s sermon, noting the way he speaks of God’s Promised Blessing given to Abraham, I wonder—
Are we REALLY AWARE of the ENORMITY of the WAY the LORD GOD HAS TRULY BLESSED US THROUGH HIS SON JESUS?!!!

Let us think through some of the many blessings from God.
- We have a heritage of faith given to us from God’s Covenant Promise spoken to Abram as he stood below the stars.
- We have a spiritual connection directly to the lineage of Father Abraham given through the child, the son, the SEED promised by God Himself.
- We have a spiritual family connected to the prophets of God who walked the face of the earth thousands of years ago.
- We have a future HOPE!
GOD ORDAINED!
GOD PROMISED!
UNDEFILED BY MANKIND!
MORE PRECIOUS THAN ANYTHING!
FREELY GIVEN TO EACH OF US THROUGH GOD’S ONLY BEGOTTEN SON JESUS!
May Each of Us Fully Accept the Blessings.

A PROPHET LIKE ME FROM YOUR BRETHREN;
TO HIM YOU SHALL GIVE HEED to everything He says to you.”
As expected, when there is one action, there follows an equal reaction. Thus, with a blessing follows a curse for anyone who does not accept the blessing. We know this to be true because the Bible tells us it is so.
‘And it will be that

every soul that does not heed that prophet shall be utterly destroyed
from among the people.’
- God wants no one to be cursed to eternal separation!
- God desires that no one go to utter destruction!
- God Sent His Son Jesus for that very reason!
- God provided the ONLY WAY to know Him in Paradise!
THE WAY HAS A NAME—THE WAY IS A PERSON—JESUS CHRIST THE SAVIOR!
There is no excuse for not knowing, for not desiring to know the blessing from God He provides because this same proclamation has been spoken since the time the prophets of God walked the face of the earth. Yes, I know there exists unreached people groups within our world, and they will be reached with the Gospel message. It is a Promise of God!
The people I speak of are those like us who have walked throughout their lives, unconcerned, living like there will always be a ‘tomorrow’ to decide to accept Jesus as their Savior. We know that there will come a day when there will be no more ‘tomorrow’ for us & we know this to be true because the Bible tells us it is so.
Today is the Day of Salvation!
- No waiting.
- No hesitating.
- No procrastinating.
- No wanting to ‘get my life cleaned up first’ thinking.
- No Anything but responding with a prayer: “Yes, Jesus, I believe. Please forgive me of my sins and save me. Please come be the Lord of my life. I totally surrender myself, my ways, my desires, my life—to YOU.”

from Samuel and his successors onward, also announced these days.

- CHRIST JESUS is the Grace Who Changes Our Lives!
- The SON of GOD is the Giver of Eternal Life!
Our Belief—Our Acceptance—Our Faith—Truly it is the only one thing the LORD GOD wants from each one of us!
May Each of Us Fully Accept the Blessing Sent to us By God—Jesus Christ!
“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it is written, “CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS ON A TREE”—
[EASTER—a time of remembrance—
- The Death of Jesus on Calvary’s Cross!
- The Shed Blood of Jesus Covering the Multitude of Our Sins!
- The Burial of Jesus in the Borrowed Tomb! &
- The Resurrection of JESUS CHRIST to NEW LIFE!]
in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles,
[the Gentiles are you & me, everyone who is not from the Jewish lineage]
so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Brethren, I speak in terms of human relations: even though it is only a man’s covenant, yet when it has been ratified, no one sets it aside or adds conditions to it.
Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed.
[God spoke His Promise to Father Abraham & to his son Isaac]
He does not say, “And to seeds,” as referring to many, but rather to one,
“And to your seed,” that is, Christ.”
