We All & Even, All of Us & For Sure, Each of Us!
Let me make a bold statement. We all want it our way!
For sure, it does not matter one bit what IT is that we want; however, what does matter are the life-circumstances coming after IT.
We All & Even, All of Us & For Sure, Each of Us Want to Live, to Do Life—our way!
- WE ALL leaves no one out.
- WE are ALL in this group.
“All of us like sheep have gone astray,
(The Book of Isaiah 53: 6a NASB)
Each of us has turned to his own way; . . .”
- WE ALL are the only ones who have gone astray, walking in OUR iniquity.
- WE ALL are wandering lost & in need of a guide, of a leader, of a shepherd—the GOOD SHEPHERD.
- WE ALL turn & turn & turn to what WE ALL think is best—selfishly “to our own way.”
Now, before you discount this premise, consider some of these situations:
Christians—WE ALL want to do whatever WE think the Lord wants us to do.
Yes, Believers—WE ALL decide to postpone serving the Lord until later or until WE decide that WE have received a clear sign from heaven.
& even when we were still Lost to God, before we gave our hearts to Jesus—
Unbelievers—WE ALL desired to live OUR lives just OUR OWN way until WE EACH decided that WE ALL were ready to accept Jesus’ forgiveness of sins and live for Him.
This truly is TRUTH when speaking about God’s creation—ALL of US—HUMANITY—WE are quite egotistical creatures!
WE ALL—WE US—WE EACH—WANT TO DO LIFE OUR OWN WAY!
Quite clearly, we read in the Bible how the Spirit of God led His prophet Isaiah to write—
“But the LORD has caused the iniquity
(The Book of Isaiah 53: 6b NASB)
of us all
To fall on Him.”
GOD’S CHOICE!
GOD’S DECISION!
OMNIPOTENT & OMNISCIENT ALMIGHTY GOD!
- HE ALONE SENT HIS ONLY SON JESUS TO MAKE A WAY FOR ALL OUR SINS TO FALL ON HIM!
GOD DID!
- GOD PLANTED THE TREE, GREW THE TREE, FASHIONED THE CROSS WHERE HIS SON, THE REDEEMER WOULD DIE FOR “THE INIQUITY OF US ALL TO FALL ON HIM.”
- GOD CREATED THE CAVE, HOLLOWED OUT THE NEW TOMB WHERE THE ROMAN SOLDIERS WOULD LAY THE DECEASED BODY OF JESUS, GOD’S ONLY BEGOTTEN SON!
- GOD ALLOWED THREE DAYS TO PASS SO NO ONE COULD DISPUTE JESUS WAS INDEED DEAD!
GOD CHOSE HIS WAY, HIS PLAN, FOR ALL OF US TO COME TO KNOW HIM!
THE ONLY WAY, THE ONLY PATH—WAS & WILL ALWAYS BE—THROUGH JESUS!
- THEN, ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK, ON SUNDAY, OMNIPOTENT, HOLY & ALMIGHTY GOD—RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD TO NEW LIFE!
“God decided in advance [He predestined ALL People]
(The Letter of Paul to the Ephesians 1: 5 NLT)
to adopt us into His own family [He chose to love & adopt US ALL as sons & daughters]
by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ.
This is what He wanted to do,
and it gave Him great pleasure.”
HOLY GOD DECIDED—
- BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD THAT
HE WANTED US
- TO KNOW HIM IN AN INTIMATE LOVE RELATIONSHIP!
THEN HOLY GOD GAVE EACH OF US, EVEN ALL OF US—INDIVIDUALLY—A CHOICE TO ACCEPT HIS FREE GIFT OF SALVATION!
Get this.
GOD did all this: displayed His holiness & power while the whole world was watching!
&
GOD did all this: drew people to Himself & HE still continues to do this today!
&
GOD asks each of us, even all of us to boldly serve & live for HIM!
Pray. Be Still in His Presence. Read and Study and Be in His Word.
When we each one of us seek Him first, HE PROMISES TO REVEAL HIMSELF TO US!
