Keep Learning Like You Will Live Forever
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel,
(The Letter of Paul to the Romans 1: 16-17 NASB)
for it is the power of God for salvation
to everyone who believes,
to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith;
as it is written, “BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.”
- If you are a child of God—
- If you have been justified—
- If you asked Jesus into your heart—
- If you are a Christian—
- If you are someone who trusts Christ alone for your salvation–
YOU WILL STEP FROM DEATH INTO NEW LIFE!
SCRIPTURE PROMISES THAT THE MOMENT YOU LEAVE THIS LIFE, YOU GO TO HEAVEN!
TO BE ABSENT FROM OUR EARTHLY BODY IS TO BE PRESENT WITH THE LORD!
IT IS A PROMISE FROM GOD!
Indeed—“For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” (The Letter of Paul to the Philippians 1:21 NASB)
Therefore, we must keep learning the many things the Lord has for us, every day, every moment we are given. We are here for a purpose, one that is not ours to live.
Please pause to listen to Kari Jobe’s melody “We Are” and be reminded of why God leaves us here on earth once we belong to Him, once we have received the salvation God freely gives.
It is a truth; people only need to take a walk throughout nature to see the evidence of God everywhere. The Bible speaks that God is evident within every man, woman, & child; however, so many remain lost, wandering through this world, void of the TRUTH of GOD!
“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,
because that which is known about God is evident within them;
for God made it evident to them.
For since the creation of the world
- His invisible attributes,
- His eternal power and
- divine nature,
have been clearly seen,
being understood through what has been made,
so that they are without excuse.”
(The Letter of Paul to the Romans 1: 18-20 NASB)
Reflect on Creation & Ask Yourself:
- How can this lead me to a deeper appreciation for the knowledge of the Creator?
The creation of God reflects the Creator!
All Creation reveals its Creator & the Creator’s glory!
We read this TRUTH within the Old Testament through a Psalm of David—
“The heavens are telling of the glory of God;
(The Psalms 19: 1-2 NASB)
And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.
Day to day pours forth speech,
And night to night reveals knowledge.”
Reflect on Creation & Remind Yourself:
Believers must continually study the Holy Scriptures.
Christians must obediently follow the Word of God.
The Redeemed must faithfully walk the path Jesus leads.
A child of God must listen and heed the leading of the Holy Spirit.
- For so many people remain wandering in this world, lost in the dark.
- For so many continue to be misled by the lies of the devil.
- For so many have not yet experienced the light of the world—Jesus Christ!
“For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks,
(The Letter of Paul to the Romans 1: 21 NASB)
but they became futile in their speculations,
and their foolish heart was darkened.”
- Keep Learning Like You Will Live Forever.
- Keep Striving to Learn More About the Creator of the Universe.
- Keep Reaching to Lead the Lost to Jesus.
Never Ashamed of the Gospel Message!
“for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, . . .” .” (The Letter of Paul to the Romans 1: 16b NASB)
Christians, May We Walk in Obedience to Our Father, Fully Knowing That This Day—Today—Could Be Our Last Day on Earth, the Very Day God Brings Us Home!
