God Does Love Us Enough!
Grateful.
Gratitude.
Thankful.
That’s the condition we find ourselves in this holiday season of Thankfulness & Thanksgiving.
We are so grateful that God’s love for us is not conditional as the love we know in the world.
God’s Love for us—
- Never stops.
- Does not abandon us.
- Does not begin and then back away from His promise.
- Is constant, consistent, and not based upon our moods.
- Does not fluctuate & is unchanging.
God’s love for us—
- Is reliable & Is dependable.
God’s love is the Gospel.
Jehovah God, the Creator—loves us so deeply, unconditionally, & steadfastly!
How are we doing—trusting in the fact that we can never “DO” enough to earn the love of Almighty God?
Christ Jesus already “DID” all that was necessary on Calvary’s cross!
Read with me the words of an apostle, a missionary preacher, and a teacher written to a young preacher, words given to him through God’s Holy Spirit.
“For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
(The First Letter of Paul to Timothy 2: 5-7 NASB)
who gave Himself as a ransom for all,
the testimony given at the proper time.
For this I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth, I am not lying) as a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.”
God does love us—Enough—He sent His only Son to pay the price for our sins!
God does love us—Enough—He knows we are incapable of doing enough good this side of our eternity to ‘pay our way’ into heaven (if that were even possible).
God Does Love Us Enough!
Hollyn sings the melody “Can’t Live Without,” reminding us through song EXACTLY HOW WE CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT GOD’S LOVE!
Read with me the words of a fisherman turned apostle, a feisty preacher, and a follower of Jesus Christ, the Messiah. Read the words given to him through God’s Holy Spirit.
“And there is salvation in no one else;
(The Acts of the Apostles 4: 12 NASB)
for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men
by which we must be saved.”
Therefore, because God Does Love Us, the final promise of the Bible is a prayer & a promise of God.
- Our sins are forgiven because Jesus died on the cross!
- Our sins are forgiven because God Loves Us Enough! He sent His Only Son!
Everything here will be destroyed, will disappear in fire. We who believe, who have confessed Jesus Christ as our Lord—should live godly lives. We must live, anticipating the coming day when our Lord Jesus will return. & We who have received the free gift of God’s Amazing Love—Salvation through His Only Son Jesus Christ—should look forward to ‘the day,’ hurrying it along as we testify this truth to our co-workers, neighbors, friends, and family.
Therefore, in closing, let us end with the words given to the apostle John through God’s Holy Spirit so we might totally understand just how much God Does Really Love Us Enough!
“I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches.
I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”
“The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.”
And let the one who hears say, “come.”
And let the one who is thirsty come;
let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.
I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book:
- if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book;
- and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book.
He who testifies to these things says,
“Yes, I am coming quickly.”
Amen. Come Lord Jesus.
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen.”
(The Revelation to John 22: 16-21 NASB)
