Morning Thoughts

A walk through life toward eternity

Thank YOU, GOD, for Revealing the ‘Exodus’ walk to FREEDOM!

IMAGINE IF YOU COULD SEE FOR A DAY FROM GOD’S PERSPECTIVE.

&

IMAGINE IF YOU WERE ABLE TO SEE JUST HOW LITTLE HUMAN BEINGS REALLY ARE IN GOD’S EYES.

&

IMAGINE IF YOU WERE ABLE TO SEE HOW OUR ‘HUGE’ LIFE-PROBLEMS ARE REALLY MINUTE (mi-NOOT, so tiny, so small) FROM GOD’S PLACE OF AUTHORITY.

& YET, MAY WE

KNOW WITH REMEMBRANCE JUST HOW WONDERFULLY SECURE WE ARE WITHIN GOD’S GRASP!

If we have been a student of the Bible, then we have learned the narrative of Moses leading out the children of Israel, from bondage to freedom.

&

If we have studied this account found in the book of Exodus, then we know the way God directed Moses’ actions once the multitude of Israelites reached the edge of the Red Sea.

&

If we have encountered ‘troubling waters’ during our lifetimes, then we also know how wonderous it truly feels to walk through the raging sea across the seabed, walking on dry, dusty ground (even as the enemy chases from behind).

&

If we have overcome our ‘life-struggles’ through the power of Almighty God, then we have stood on the opposite side and observed the way God defeated Satan’s angry, fiery, evil darts aimed at taking our eternal lives.

MORIAH reminds us through song how it is God who carries us through to the other side.  Pause to be blessed:  “You Carry Me.”

Amazingly, over and over, GOD reminds us through His Word how HE IS IN TOTAL CONTROL (if we allow Him to transform our lives from death to life).  Please read the psalmist’s account of the ‘Exodus’ walk to FREEDOM!

The waters saw You, O God;
The waters saw You, they were in anguish;
The deeps also trembled.
The clouds poured out water;
The skies gave forth a sound;
Your arrows flashed here and there.
The sound of Your thunder was in the whirlwind;
The lightnings lit up the world;
The earth trembled and shook.
Your way was in the sea
And
Your paths in the mighty waters,
And
Your footprints may not be known.
You led Your people like a flock
By the hand of Moses and Aaron.”

(Psalm 77: 16-20 NASB)

It is a stormy world where we live.  Since we must live ‘here’ before we go ‘home to heaven,’ then there is only ONE QUESTION we need to ask ourselves:  Do we fully trust the guide who will see us through?

YES, THANK YOU, ALMIGHTY GOD, WE DO!

Before anymore words are read, pause with your earbuds firmly placed inside your ears, and listen to Tauren Wells sing “Crazy About You.”

  • THANK YOU, GOD, FOR CHOOSING US & FOR BEING CRAZY ABOUT US!
  • THANK YOU, GOD, FOR DYING SO WE DID NOT HAVE TO!
  • THANK YOU, GOD, FOR LOVING US SO MUCH EVEN THOUGH WE CAN NEVER ‘DESERVEYOUR AMAZING LOVE!

The “Amazing Grace of God” is so much greater than our past sins!

The “Amazing Grace of Jesus” is so deep it covers all our past wrongs!

The “Indwelling Holy Spirit of God” fills us completely, reminding us every step of the way how GOD’S life-changing, transforming MERCY & GRACE REVEALS OUR EXODUS WALK TO FREEDOM!

“Thank YOU,” are such small words, but still we cry out, “Thank YOU, FATHER, for walking us through this temporary passage of our life, stepping with us as we daily walk one day closer to OUR ETERNAL, FINAL DESTINATION IN HEAVEN WITH YOU!

In The Revelation of God given to the apostle John, we hear our Savior’s comforting words—

Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me.
And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands;
and in the middle of the lampstands
I saw one like a son of man, clothed in a robe reaching to the feet, and girded across His chest with a golden sash.
His head and His hair were white like white wool, like snow;
and His eyes were like a flame of fire.
His feet were like burnished bronze, when it has been made to glow in a furnace,
and His voice was like the sound of many waters.
In His right hand He held seven stars,
and out of His mouth came a sharp two-edged sword;
and His face was like the sun shining in its strength.
When I saw Him,
I fell at His feet like a dead man.
And He placed His right hand on me, saying,
“Do not be afraid;
I am the first and the last,
and the living One;
and I was dead,
and behold, I am alive forevermore,
and I have the keys of death and of Hades.”

(The Revelation to John 1: 12-18 NASB)
