Morning Thoughts

A walk through life toward eternity

“Bring him here to Me.”

What is our largest need?

What lays heaviest upon our hearts?

Are we (the believing) placing those needs at the feet of Jesus?

  • Take up your Bible . . . Daily.
  • Pick up God’s Word . . . Often.
  • Open the Word of God . . . Every Opportunity Available.
  • Carry the Bible with you—& Read—as you go throughout your day.

READ—SEE—UNDERSTAND—BE REMINDED—HOW JESUS CAME TO HEAL THE LOST.

—HOW JESUS COMMANDS US TO DO OUR PART.

WE ARE TO BRING THEM TO THE FEET OF JESUS—TO PRAY & PRAY & PRAY & PRAY & PRAY & PRAY . . .

“When they came to the crowd, a man came up to Jesus, falling on his knees before Him and saying,
“Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is a lunatic and is very ill; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water.
I brought him to Your disciples, and they could not cure him.”
And Jesus answered and said,

“You unbelieving and perverted generation, how long shall I be with you?
How long shall I put up with you?
Bring him here to Me.”

And Jesus rebuked him, and the demon came out of him, and the boy was cured at once.”

(Matthew 17: 14-18 NASB)

Let us ask ourselves:

  • Am I praying—ENOUGH?
  • Am I laying my burdens of prayer at Jesus’ feet—DAILY?
  • Am I trusting God?

Let us call on Jesus!

Let us trust in His Word!

  • Let us remember how we are powerless, & howHE IS ALL-POWERFUL!
  • Let us recall howJesus came to seek & to save the lost!
  • Let us never, ever forget—Jesus does not refuse the intercessory prayers of His saints!

May we bring

  • the sick,
  • the lame,
  • the confused,
  • the lost,
  • the dejected,
  • the ones seeking the truth,
  • the demon-possessed,
  • the addicted,
  • the wayward ones,
  • the hurting,
  • the ones suffering with illness,
  • those battling cancer,
  • the diseased

Let us be FAITHFUL!

Yes, may we bring all our prayers & may we lay them today at Jesus’ feet.

“Bring him here to Me.”

“I Will Rise” by Chris Tomlin puts into song this TRUTH.

You are worthy, LORD JESUS!

The psalmist David wrote these words to remind us of God’s Truth!

“Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden,
The God who is our salvation.           Selah”

(Psalm 68: 19 NASB)
