One More Time
“To Him be dominion forever and ever.
(1 Peter 5: 11-6 NASB)
Amen.” (11)
“After you have suffered for a little while,
the God of all grace,
who called you to His eternal glory in Christ,
will Himself perfect,
confirm,
strengthen,
and establish you.” (10)
“So resist him,
firm in your faith,
knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brothers and sisters who are in the world.” (9)
“Be of sober spirit,
be on the alert.
Your adversary,
the devil,
prowls around like a roaring lion,
seeking someone to devour.“ (8)
“having cast all your anxiety on Him,
because He cares about you.” (7)
“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God,
so that He may exalt you at the proper time,” (6)
One More Time—
- We need to be reminded that the dominion of God is forever & ever.
One More Time—
- We need to recall how Christ will Himself establish us, strengthen us, & confirm us & perfect us.
One More Time—
- We need to never forget how God called us to His eternal glory in Christ.
One More Time—
- We need to recall how we suffer for just a little while.
One More Time—
- We need to know that our brothers & sisters across and in this world, are also experiencing suffering too.
One More Time—
- We need to remain firm in our faith.
One More Time—
- We need to be reminded how we are to resist our enemy (the devil).
One More Time—
- We need to never forget it is the devil who seeks to devour.
One More Time—
- We need to never forget it is the devil who is like a prowling, roaring lion.
One More Time—
- We need to never forget the presence of the devil in this world.
One More Time—
- We need to never forget our adversary has a name.
One More Time—
- We need to never forget how we are to ALWAYS be on alert.
One More Time—
- We need to never forget how we are to ALWAYS be sober spirited.
One More Time—
- We need to REMEMBER GOD CARES about us!
One More Time—
- We need to cast (again & again & again & . . .) all of our anxiety on God.
One More Time—
- We need to remember how it is God who will exalt us in His proper timing.
One More Time—
- We need to be humble, “under the mighty hand of God, . . . .”
One More Time—
- We need to give our EVERYTHING to GOD!
The secret—
Give our “whatever” to God—One More Time!
Give our “whatever” is causing us anxiety—One More Time—More (than we take “it” Back)!
Whether we read the Scriptures forward or backward,
Our God: surrounds us & constantly reminds us—
Once we know Jesus as our Savior—
We belong to God!
&
HE’S GOT OUR THIS, OUR BURDEN WE ARE CARRYING!
May we (again today) Give “it” to Jesus—One More Time!
