The question is not “if” GOD will BUT . . .
Today has become a day of REMEMBRANCE, one that began with a walk through the eleventh, twelfth, and thirteenth chapters of the book of Revelation—the end book of God’s Holy Word.
Thus, let me begin by producing a list of names, of just SOME of the people who lived and knew the Truth of God—how the question was not “if” God would BUT the statement was “HOW GOD ALWAYS WILL!”
“Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,
(Revelation 12: 10-11 NASB)
“Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down, the one who accuses them before our God day and night.
And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.”
- David stood on the battlefield & faced the giant Goliath in the strength of the LORD.
- Daniel bowed facing east & prayed to God just as he always did.
- Esther wore an unfamiliar name within a fearful time & stood for just a time as this.
- Joshua quieted the multitude & said: “Yes we can.”
- Caleb had a different spirit & followed God fully.
- Joseph faced captivity within a strange land & spared his family from starvation.
- Stephen kneeled as the stones pummeled his body & lifted his eyes in faith, seeing God.
- Paul knew he faced death by the hand of his enemies & preached the gospel message anyway.
- The list can continue—on & on & on & . . .
So, the question is not “if” God will guide us but “HOW GOD ALWAYS WILL!”
So, the question is not “if” God will lead us but “HOW GOD ALWAYS WILL!”
So, the question is not “if” God will save us but “HOW GOD ALWAYS WILL!”
So, the question is not “if” God will overcome but “HOW GOD ALWAYS WILL!”
Scripture is clear!
Through the death of Christ & through His resurrection from the grave, we have been given the authority & the power of God to overcome what the enemy brings into our lives.
GOD HIMSELF has given us HIS BATTLE PLAN!
Just like Jesus, the Messiah of the world and our Savior did: We must fight evil with God’s Love!
In doing so, we overcome Satan’s fiery darts.
In doing so, we lead others to see the freedom found in trusting God because GOD’S LOVE WILL ALWAYS TRIUMPH over the power of sin! GOD ALWAYS WILL!
“Then I looked, and behold, the Lamb was standing on Mount Zion, and with Him 144,000 who had His name and the name of His Father written on their foreheads.
(Revelation 14: 1-5 NASB)
And I heard a voice from heaven like the sound of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder, and the voice which I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps.
And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one was able to learn the song except the 144,000 who had been purchased from the earth.
These are the ones who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are celibate. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been purchased from mankind as first fruits to God and to the Lamb.
And no lie was found in their mouths; they are blameless.”
We must choose God THIS day, & then when tomorrow comes, we must choose God THAT day too because there is truly ONLY ONE WAY to overcome the evil of Satan.
- We must allow the goodness of God to triumph within our lives.
- We must remain in relationship with God.
- We must remember the promise of God.
- We must simply make the daily choice to pick up our cross and follow HIM!
- We must allow God to lead us to victory over sin!
- We must walk in the power and authority and presence that God has placed of Himself within us.
- We must remember WHO IT IS WHO HAS SET US FREE!
As we finish looking at the question of “if” God will, the melody “Yes He Can” by CAIN plays into my ears, reminding me of GOD’S TRUTH—“GOD ALWAYS WILL!” Pause to listen and be encouraged. https://youtu.be/KtKBkpbOLPE
“Did He . . .
Yes HE Did &
Yes HE Can!
. . .
I know HE Did & I know HE Can!”
“Yes He Can” by CAIN
“For this reason, rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you with great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time.” (Revelation 12: 12 NASB)
We can stand, sit, lay, or kneel—ASSURED—THE LORD WILL ALWAYS BE WITH US!
GOD ALWAYS WILL!
