A walk through life toward eternity

Simply Put—

ALMIGHTY GOD Is

Exactly

Who HE SAYS HE IS—

LOVE, HEALING, REDEMPTION!

“Behold, days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah,
not like the covenant which I made with their fathers on the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them,”
declares the LORD.
“For this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the LORD:  “I will put My law within them and write it on their heart;  and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”

(Jeremiah 31: 31-33 NASB)

Simply put—God is Love!

  • Simply put—Amazing love!
  • Simply put—How can it be!
  • Simply put—How can it be that God should die for me?!!

Simply put—Jesus is God!

  • Simply put—Jesus was present when God spoke creation into existence.
  • Simply put—Jesus stepped from heaven to become flesh, like a man.
  • Simply put—Jesus willingly gave His life upon Calvary’s cross for you and me.
  • Simply put—Jesus was resurrected to new life on the third day.
  • Simply put—Jesus returned to heaven, where He remains until the day He comes again for us!
  • Simply put—Jesus is God!

Simply put—Jesus is the very nature of God!

  • Simply put—Those who accept Jesus as their Savior become the children of God.
  • Simply put—Those who know God as LORD become the bride of Christ Jesus.

Simply put—JESUS IS GOD!

How can we know the Bible is accurate?

How can we know God is faithful to His Word, that He will do what He promises to do?

We know because, since the beginning of time, God continually does what He says He will do!

Just as when the children of Israel left Egypt and were pursued by their captors (the Egyptians), God delivered them—just as He promised.

Just as when the remnant of the children of Israel left Babylonia and returned to Jerusalem to rebuild the walls that once surrounded the city, God delivered them & provided the provisions necessary—just as He promised.

How can we know God will do exactly as He says He will do?

  • We seek God’s forgiveness for our sins.
  • We allow God’s Holy Spirit to lead us through our days.
  • We keep the faith.
  • We wait patiently & in perseverance & through prayer & while continuing to do His will.
  • We trust in the Lord’s promise.
  • We speak the love of God to those we encounter.
  • We speak the forgiveness of sins found in knowing Jesus as our Savior.
  • We praise God.
  • We honor and glorify God.

We celebrate God’s forgiveness & God’s compassion & God’s faithfulness!

By faith we understand that the world has been created by the word of God so that what is seen has not been made out of things that are visible.”

(Hebrews 11: 3 NASB)

By the amazing grace and mercy provided through Jesus, we have victory.

By the working of the Holy Spirit, we understand the truth and receive Jesus as our Savior.

By the leading of the Spirit, it is Jesus who grabs us by the hand, & suddenly we can now “SEE” what we could never “SEE” before (we received HIM into our heart).

  • By faith, the invisible becomes visible.
  • By faith, the Word of God becomes MORE THAN A BOOK!
  • By faith, God’s Word becomes living & breathing & leading & life-giving WORD of GOD!

There is a most-beautiful melody titled “Throne Room” by Kim Walker-Smith, one that is worth pausing right here and listening to, as we are reminded:

“I fall on my face, with angels and saints, and all I can say is:  ‘Holy! Holy! Holy, are You, God!’”

Why would we ever want to hoard this gift?

Simply put—We Should NOT!

  • Why would we ever want to bury this precious treasure in the basement part of our heart?
  • Simply put—We Should NOT!
  • Why would we ever not share the Amazing Grace with those who need to know Jesus?
  • Simply put—We Should NOT!
  • To remain quiet about the LOVE of GOD & the SALVATION found in JESUS.
  • Simply put—We Should NOT!

Simply put—This is NOT a question but a conviction!

“They will not teach again, each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the LORD, “for I will forgive their wrongdoing, and their sin I will no longer remember.”
This is what the LORD says,
He who gives the sun for light by day
And the fixed order of the moon
and the stars for light by night,
Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar—
The LORD of armies is His name: . . .”

(Jeremiah 31: 34-35 NASB)
  • Simply put—God is Always Faithful to do exactly as He says He will do!
  • Simply put—There is Salvation found through Jesus!
  • Simply put—Jesus will come again—Just as He Promised!
  • Simply put—Jesus Saved You!
  • Simply put—Jesus Saved Me!
  • Simply put—We will NEVER leave God’s Love!

In the last book of the Word of God, the apostle John writes:

“Then I heard something like the voice of a great multitude and like the sound of many waters, and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, saying,
“Hallelujah!  For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns.”
Let’s rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, because the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has prepared herself.”

(Revelation 19: 6-7 NASB)
