There is Holy Security for Those Who Trust in the LORD!
Do we ever struggle standing up for the truth?
Do we ever struggle rising to the occasion and proclaiming God’s truth?
In today’s ever-changing world, de we encourage brothers and sisters in Christ?
Yes, do we band together, encouraging each other, rising together through prayer, standing for God’s truth, even when the truth is not appreciated or wanted?
We live in this moment, in this time, and in this place BECAUSE
- God placed us here!
- We are to live-out God’s good pleasure!
- His children are to do God’s will within the day we are given to live!
We are to be constantly “ON-MISSION,” walking, breathing, doing, speaking—God’s Gospel message.
As we do, God blesses us through His sanctification (spiritual growth) as He prepares us for His glorification (our eternal home in heaven).
C.S. Lewis was a well-known man in his day—for one reason—he denounced the gospel message. Lewis spoke untruth when he claimed, “There is no God.” He was wrong! The Holy Spirit of God spoke to Lewis’ heart, changing him from the inside out, and Lewis became a believer, a Christian, a child of God. It was a miracle of God, just as each of us received God’s miraculous salvation and indwelling of His Holy Spirit when we believed and received God’s gift of salvation. WHAT an AMAZING & GLORIOUS GIFT to be a CHILD of the KING OF KINGS!!!!!!
Lewis has written so many books about his conversion and spoken at many events. One comment that speaks to us still today: “Though our feelings come and go, His love for us does not.”
God loves us forevermore!
God never lets us go, holding onto us through this life and into eternity.
He Has Us!
- Despite what health issues we encounter—God Has Us!
- Despite what mission field He sends us to—God Has Us!
- Despite what family concerns burden our heart—God Has Us!
- Despite what turmoil the world throws our way—God Has Us!
- Despite whatever comes—God Has Us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . . .
We may stumble, but our heavenly Father holds our hand and catches us.
We may scrape our knees, but our heavenly Father holds our hand and mends our heart.
We may fall, but our heavenly Father holds our hand and we will never be destroyed.
There is Holy Security for Those Who Trust in the LORD!
The young shepherd boy David who was anointed to become the king of Israel knew this truth. Yes, even when David sinned, he cried out to God, knowing that God would forgive his sin as David repented and then walked anew. Yes, David knew that—God Has Each of Us!
“The steps of a man are established by the LORD,
(Psalm 37: 23-24 NASB)
And He delights in his way.
When he falls, he will not be hurled down,
Because the LORD is the One who holds his hand.”
May we allow our hearts to cry out to God.
May we allow our flesh to cry out to our Father.
May we bow and seek God’s will for this day we have been given to live.
May we ask God for what good pleasure are we to serve today.
May we thank God—for EVERYTHING!
May we never become discouraged or dismayed, BECAUSE
We are keeping our eyes upon Jesus &
“Because the LORD is the One who holds his hand.” (Psalm 37: 24b NASB)
