We Can—Influence the Lives of Others—When We PRAY!
We can influence the lives of others when we intercede on their behalf.
What are we praying for today?
Who remains upon our heart & mind?
What concerns wake up with us in the morning, remain with us through the day, only to be the concerns we pray over as our eyes drift off to our night’s rest?
- Prayer changes situations.
- Prayer alters lives.
- Prayer allows us to become active members of God’s amazing miracles.
Today, I am reminded that Jesus Christ has no unanswered prayer! In His Word, he gives these words:
“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say rejoice!
Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near.”
(Philippians 4: 4-5)
Oh, thank you Lord, for being near, for staying near to us during the tough moments, and for walking us through the easy moments of our days. We can rejoice, yes rejoice, because the Lord is always near to us, and His gentle spirit can permeate unto all we encounter.
- What are we praying for today?
- Who remains upon our heart & mind?
- What concerns wake up with us in the morning?
- What prayers go with us throughout each day?
- What prayers do we lift as we drift off to sleep?
God knows. Truly, God, most certainly knows & hears & collects our prayers. The Bible tells us so.
Prayer changes lives—ours and the ones we are praying for, and I am truly amazed that even the unbeliever, the ones who do not believe in God—still believe in the power of prayer. How in the world is that possible? How can one who does not believe in the highest power—in God—how can that person not believe in the ONE who answers the prayers lifted?
We are told how we should remain in a state of prayerfulness. Are we? Are we allowing God to do what only God can do—ANSWER PRAYER Or Are we forgetting to pray?
We can influence the lives of others when we intercede on their behalf.
It is so true that a crisis becomes the catalyst for prayer, so it also is true that our prayers lifted to Almighty God can become the catalyst where lives can be changed.
- What are we praying for today?
- Why aren’t we praying more?
Are we keeping a prayer list, circling the names written upon our lists, praying for the ones listed, and recording when the Lord provides the miracle within their lives?
Help us Lord, not to “be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, [help us to ] let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
(Philippians 4: 6-7)
There is such power—In JESUS name!
- Thank You God for sending us Jesus who saves us!
- Thank You God for sending us Your Holy Spirit who guides us!
- Thank You God for sending us to our knees to PRAY, to share time in conversation with YOU!
Thank You God for YOU!
You have chosen to allow Your children to participate in the changing of lives, and we are so awed by this responsibility and daily opportunity.
- Circumstances Change.
- Lives Change.
- People Change—ALL BECAUSE OF GOD’S POWER RELEASED WHEN WE PRAY!
Jesus, the Savior and Redeemer of all mankind spoke these words to His disciples when the time approached for His crucifixion. Jesus knew he would give His life upon the cross of Calvary. Jesus knew His dead body would be sealed within the tomb. Jesus knew His disciples would be anxious; Jesus knew they would need Him; Jesus knew their fear would overcome their remembrance of the things they saw Him do as they walked through the villages with Him. Jesus knew He would resurrect to new life, so Jesus encouraged His disciples with these words.
“In that day you will not question Me about anything. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you.
Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.”
(John 16: 23-24)
Brother—may we PRAY.
Sister—may we PRAY.
- May we be encouraged with Jesus’ words today.
- May we see them and be comforted.
- May we read them and remember why we should always PRAY.
- May we comprehend Jesus’ words, allowing His words to sink deeply into our being.
- May we come to the altar of Jesus, & May we PRAY.
- May we remain walking close beside You as we are praying &
- May we trust that You—God will answer our prayers in Your timing & in Your way.
- May we allow Jesus’ words to bring us to our knees—As we lift our eyes toward heaven and PRAY.
What are we praying for today?
Who are we lifting up to God in prayer?
Why aren’t we praying more?
God wants us to talk with Him about everything!
May we ask and receive, & May our joy be made full.
Nothing has the power to save, but the name of Jesus.
May we PRAY in JESUS’ name every day we have breath.
Katy Nichole sings a most wonderful melody “In Jesus’ name.” Listen today and be blessed.
JESUS. JESUS. JESUS. JESUS. JESUS. JESUS.
In JESUS name—We PRAY!
JESUS—YOU are the GOD of POSSIBLE!
JESUS, we know that You are with us while we wait, throughout all the days, as we wait for Your answer to our prayers. May we be faithful to continue lifting others in Jesus’ name.
Thank You God for remaining with us—while we PRAY!
We Can—Influence the Lives of Others—When We PRAY—in JESUS’ name!
