Yesterday, I saw a miracle.

That’s correct—An amazing—M—I—R—A—C—L—E!

Now, there are so many skeptics who would claim there’s no such thing as a miracle, but I am a product of a miracle, so I totally disagree with the skeptics.  Maybe you too are a product of a miracle and also disagree.

• Maybe they attend because they have always attended church.
• Maybe they attend because they are dating someone who attends church, so they go to be with the one they love.
• Maybe they attend because their children go and they think it’s the right thing to do.
• Maybe they attend out of habit.
• Maybe they attend out of curiosity.
• Maybe they attend, hoping they will find some relief, because their body is so burdened.
• Maybe they attend, hopeful that the Son of God—Jesus Christ—will prove to them He is Who He says He is.

We don’t know why the lost attend church, but we are so glad they do (attend) because that’s when a miracle of God can occur—when God’s Son is accepted as Savior & Lord.

In the Bible, there was such a man—a lost man—one who encountered the Savior, but this man did not meet Jesus the traditional way—standing in church on a sunny Sunday.  No!  This man came seeking to speak with Jesus under the cover of night.  This man had questions, and he needed answers.  Go with me into the Scriptures to see this man who (if we are honest) is so much like us.

Let’s stop right there, even though, in stopping, we have not yet reached the miracle of God, but did we see those details and what can be discovered about humanity?

• Mankind is comprised of all types of people.
• Religious People.
• Non-Religious People.
• Good People.
• People with Names.
• People who are known by others just because of who they are & what they do in their careers.
• People who rule.
• People who don’t.
• People who hide in the dark, under the cover of the night.
• People who need answers, even when others think “these people” should already know all the answers just because of who they are & what they do.
• People who know Jesus is the Master Teacher because he has “come from God as a teacher; . . ” (John 3: 2)
• People who know Jesus is from God “for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.” (John 3: 2)
• People who need Jesus.
• People who need Jesus to answer their plea, their cry, their prayer.
• People like this man named Nicodemus.
• People like me.
• People like you.

• HOW CAN A PERSON BE SAVED?
• HOW CAN A PERSON SEE GOD?
• HOW CAN A PERSON COME TO KNOW GOD?

Jesus Himself supplies the answer!

I was once just like Nicodemus.  Maybe you were too.  I once had questions for the man named Jesus, questions that I needed answers to, and until I stopped running and turned to look at Jesus—until then, I just maintained life, running in the other direction—away from the Savior.

• Nicodemus asked the question all mankind must know in order to become a child of God.
• Nicodemus asked the question the man asked yesterday, the same man who Jesus saved yesterday!

Jesus answered [just as Jesus always does when we call out to Him—JESUS IS ALWAYS READY TO PROVIDE THE ANSWERS WE NEED, AT JUST THE RIGHT TIME—JUST WHAT WE NEED!!!],

• Nicodemus was religious.
• Nicodemus was a Pharisee, a ruler of the Jews.
• Nicodemus was a man who spent time in many religious services.
• Nicodemus was a learned man, one who had spent years learning the truth about this world.
• Nicodemus was also a learned man who had spent years learning about Jehovah God.

BUT . . .

There is a HUGE DIFFERENCE between knowing “about” a man named Jesus & knowing Jesus as our personal Savior!!!

Nicodemus was standing there, face-to-face with Jesus that night, but Nicodemus was seeing Jesus as a man & a prophet & a teacher.

Before we can FULLY enjoy the wind and the breeze that blows upon our face, we must intimately KNOW THE ONE WHO MADE THE WIND!!!

Before we can try to live a life, we must first RECEIVE NEW LIFE FROM THE SON of GOD!!!

Before we can receive eternal life, we must do exactly what Jesus told Nicodemus he must do.

• Thank You God for providing us opportunities to see Your Miracles!
• Thank You God for saving Rob’s soul. He will NEVER be the same!
• Thank You God for saving my soul when I was fifteen!
• Thank You God for sending Your Only Son so we can receive the Miracle only YOU can provide!
