Did you catch that?
Did you receive my message?
Do you understand?
Vhpoenlsm. Tkzpmlospnehod!  Hhh!!!   Ihzbemepla gfdsl Khan mwleop.

Now, is it clear?
Should I say more?
Could I say more?
Gibberish is Gibberish is Gibberish!
We have much GIBBERISH in this world & we have TRUTH!

God loves you!
God loves me!
God loves every man, woman, and child equally.
God judges & His judgment will come to all.
How will God find me?
How will God find you?

Yesterday, I spent my late-morning hours tearing apart boxes, the job left that no one seemed to want, the job the late-arriver was offered, the one I accepted.
Cut One Way, Bend This Way, Tear Apart, & Then, Stuff Down Inside The Box of Recycled Material.
An easy, mindless job & one I could do as my mind thought of other things, like how NOT to cut my hand with Tammy’s box-cutter (thank you, Tammy.  Your offer made my task so easy.)
Did we catch that?

Tammy came early & Tammy came prepared placed a box-cutter inside her pocket JUST IN CASE the tearing down of boxes was assigned to her.  She was ready.

Instead of tearing apart boxes to recycle, Tammy worked the line:  placing food items “soon-to-be meals” inside the boxes to be given away at the monthly food drive.
And behind that line of food flowing into the boxes stood me, the tearer of, the cutter of, the clean-up crew of all that was tossed aside as the food-line worked like a well-oiled machine (like clockwork some say).
Have you ever stopped to wonder:  Why does God love you?  Why, God, do you love me?
Have you ever asked:  God, are You for real?
Have you ever wondered:  Why—God, do you really offer ultimate peace?
God, how in the world can someone educated (like me) ever believe in an invisible God?

Really!!!!
Have you ever pondered these questions?

Have you ever thought that BELIEVERS have lost their minds?
Are we really just speaking, a GIBBERISH of words, that really means NOTHING!!! ?
Those are the questions the world wonders.

Yesterday, at the end of my box-cutting and box-tearing, and box-stuffing, I promised my sister I would deliver a box of food to a family in the community.   I knew this man.  We had spoken often.
However, I did not know Mike was going to bless my day so much!!!!
Mike was a friend.
Mike cared every single day for his sick wife.
Mike is a humble man, tenderhearted, and yesterday, as I carried the four small boxes of food to his door, I wondered what we would talk about, because I knew Mike would join me on his front porch to talk.
Mike did not disappoint.

  • We spoke of the warm weather (of course).
  • We spoke of his new heating system for the upcoming winter weather.
  • We spoke of my mom (of course).
  • We spoke of his wife’s health (of course).
  • We spoke of a doctor report.
  • We spoke of many topics (of course), Mike and me, because we go way back; we have a family-connected relationship.

Mike knows my mom and my sisters and brothers and my brothers-in-law and my father and mother-in-law, & Mike knows my husband.
We have a relationship & maybe that’s why I cry whenever I stop by Mike’s home.  Maybe that’s why I want to know Mike forever, in eternity with God.
Maybe.
“I pray, you know,” Mike said as the conversation changed direction.
“Really!” I thought in my mind.
“Yeah. Many people think I don’t because I don’t go to church,” Mike stated.
“How could you go to church, Mike?  Your wife needs you, even on the LORD’S day,” I replied.
“But, I’ve not been baptized, Mike continued.”

Really!!!!
Did Mike just tell me that he was a believer, a Christian? Truthfully, I thought he was not!!!
Our conversation continued yesterday; I shared the pastor’s number with Mike so they could speak more about Mike’s baptism.  We talked of my mom’s beauty, of the future, of communion, of my sisters, of salvation’s assurance, of the food drive, of Mike’s new heating system, of the rainy weather, and of his declaration of faith.
We talked.

Thank YOU—-GOD for talk.
Thank YOU—-GOD for relationships & for gifts found on a Saturday visit.
Thank YOU—-GOD for Your Salvation.
Thank YOU—-GOD for YOU!!!!

The Bible speaks of a man named Job, a man who suffered so much because Satan went on the attack and because God allowed for Satan to attack Job’s earthly life.
Job lost:  his family, his health, his wife, his wealth, his friends, his daily peace at moments—-His everything!
But, Job never lost his GOD!!!
Job never lost his SALVATION!!!
JOB WILL BE IN ETERNITY, WITH GOD, WHEN I ARRIVE, & NOW, I KNOW—-SO WILL MIKE!
Really!!!! It’s a truth!!!

In the Bible, we read how Job was a man, who still had some questions about his lot in life.
Mike did too, have some questions, yesterday, for me about God.
I did not have all the answers, and I told Mike as much.
Job asked God some questions too. . . Because truthfully, Job just wondered about why God allowed all this suffering to come to him.
Don’t believe the words of this blog but read about a man named Job. Believe—Always—the Word of God

“Can you discover the depths of God?
Can you discover the limits of the Almighty?
They are high as the heavens, what can you do?
Deeper than Sheol, what can you know?
It’s measure is longer than the earth
And broader than the sea.
If He passes by or shuts up,
Or calls an assembly, who can restrain Him?
For He knows false men,
And He sees iniquity without investigating.
An idiot will become intelligent when the foal of the wild donkey is born a man.
If you would direct your heart right
And spread out your hand to Him,
If iniquity is in your hand, put it away,
And do not let wickedness dwell in your tents;
Then, indeed, you could lift up your face without moral defect,
And you would be steadfast and not fear.
For you would forget your troubles,
As waters have passed by, you would remember it.
Your life would be brighter than noonday;
Darkness would be like the morning.
Then you would trust because there is hope;
And you would look around and rest securely.
You would lie down and none would disturb you,
And many would entreat your favor.”

(Job 11: 7-19)

I made three calls yesterday, as I drove away from Mike’s house—-my pastor, my sister Jill, & my sister Mischele.
Thank YOU—-GOD for Your Promises & Thank You—-GOD for Your Salvation.
I will know Mike forever—-in eternity.  I know because Mike told me so.
Hallelujah God for Your gift of friendship & Hallelujah God for Your gift of ministry shared with me on a typical Saturday.
Thank YOU—-GOD!!!
