“Just Like That Day,” Today Could Be THE DAY!
King Herod hated Christmas & even tried to kill Christmas—BUT HE DID NOT SUCCEED!
The Messiah came to earth just as prophecy proclaimed. So many prophets within the Old Testament spoke of the coming of Jesus, and then there was a span of 400 years of silence.
Then God placed the Savior of the world upon this earth, to be born of the virgin, to be born (the Bible calls it the Coming of the Messiah to earth). Mary and Joseph placed Jesus in the manger (just as the prophets foretold many hundreds of years before the world’s silence, before the Lord Jesus—the Son of Man—came to earth).
Did you know that more Old Testament scripture speaks of Christ’s second coming than of His first?
Did you also know that Satan freely roams this earth from place to place, devouring whomever he seeks, destroying marriages, creating turmoil, taking lives—Doing ALL he can while he has time!
Did you also know the devil’s days are numbered!!!!
The devil will be defeated (chained in fact) & then released & then thrown into the lake of fire forevermore.
Did you know that God did not create hell (the lake of fire) for you or for me, but for Satan!
Did you also know that Christ Jesus will return (the Bible calls it the Second Coming), and when Jesus returns, HE will establish His Kingdom of peace and righteousness!
Did you know!!!!
Maybe you did not know, But Now You Do—KNOW!
Do not believe these words but believe the Word of God.
“For just like lightning, when it flashes out of one part of the sky, shines to the other part of the sky, so will the Son of Man be in His day.”
(Luke 17:24)
Jesus Christ will come quickly—So we MUST be ready!
“And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all [except those who entered the ark, except those who, like Noah, believed God at His word].”
(Luke 17:26-27)
Jesus Christ will come when we least expect Him to come—So we must be ready!
“It was the same as happened in the days of Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building;
(Luke 17: 28-29)
But on the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all [except those who walked away in faith & believed God].”
Jesus Christ will return when we are busy living our lives, when we least expect Him to come—So we must be ready!
Then Jesus tells us “It will be just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed.”
(Luke 17: 30)
We are to watch for Jesus’ second coming & even long for it—-Every Day.
We are to be ready & even tell others so they too can be ready—-Every Day.
We are to be watching for Jesus’ Second Coming, even more than we are waiting for Christmas Day and the celebration of His first coming to earth—-Every Day.
Let us be ready!
Let us (each one of us)—BE READY!
The Bible speaks of That Day and even tells us clearly what will happen to Satan (the liar and deceiver and hater of Jesus Christ).
“And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.”
(Revelation 20: 10)
The Bible is clear!
Jesus is coming again!
When Jesus comes (quickly, like a storm with lightning, & unexpectedly, like in the days of the flood, & when lives are busy living, like in the days of fire & brimstone on the cities), We Must Be Ready!
So, we must ask everyone we meet: Are You Ready?
If TODAY were that day, when Jesus returns, “How would Jesus find us?”
Let us not love this world, but let us long for Jesus’ return & Let us tell the world (all the people we know) about the Savior of the world Who Promises Us—He Will Come Again!
