Morning Thoughts

A walk through life toward eternity

FREEDOM—IT IS A BEAUTIFUL GIFT TO BEHOLD!

Freedom.
We desire freedom.
We speak of it as though it is something we ought to have…just because; however, we also know there is a cost of freedom to be gained.
What do you desire to be FREE from today?

If we have accepted God as our Savior  &   Since we have given our heart to God, then we must ask ourselves today—Have we taken our need to God?
Have we asked God to free us from that which controls us?
FREEDOM!!!

God’s amazing power works in and through us.
God gives us opportunities to step forward in faith, to pray a prayer of release, to ask for, to seek and to receive that which we cannot receive upon our own.
“Yes LORD.  Free me.  Forgive me.  I believe You can.  I trust fully in Your resurrection power.  God, I believe and trust that You are who You say You are.  Free me from that which holds me.  Free me from the sin that entangles me.  Free me from that which controls my mind, body, and soul.  Lead me into Your light, into Your Saving Grace.”
Small steps of faith.
One step in obedience leads to a second step, which leads to a third, a fourth, a fifth, a sixth. . . We see the image in our mind, the Image of Faith Steps.
Faith is a lifelong Journey . . . . STEP 1, STEP 2, STEP 3, STEP . . . .
But don’t believe my words; believe the Word of God.  The Apostle John was seized and then imprisoned upon the island of Patmos.  God provided the Revelation of Jesus Christ.

“John to the seven churches that are in Asia:  Grace to you and peace, from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.
To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood—and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever.  Amen.
BEHOLD, HE IS COMING WITH THE CLOUDS,  and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him;  and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him.  So it is to be.  Amen.
‘I am the Alpha and the Omega,’ says the Lord God, ‘who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.’ “

(Revelation 1: 4-8)

God sent His Son—Who has come to bring freedom from sins and restoration to our souls.
God did that—Because God Is Love!
GOD DID!!!

So we kneel, and we pray, asking—
God to help us open our hearts, open our hands, open our homes, and open our eyes as we really see the lostness surrounding us.
Help us to love like You.
Help us to seek opportunities to serve You with everything You have given, everything You have provided.
Help us remember Your mission has not changed—You came to save Every person, Every soul, Everyone who will trust and believe.
Help us to share our testimony, our resources, our lives, our love as we live on mission for You.
Help us to live our lives as an extension of Your ministry as You live through us.
Today, may others see Jesus in you.
Today, may others to see Jesus in me.
Help others to see JESUS!
We pray and ask for these things as we begin this season of Advent, as we look back to celebrate the birth of Your Son Jesus who was sent to the world as a babe.  We ask as we also look forward in longing toward the promise of Your second coming, toward Your SonJESUSWho brings salvation to those who believe.
God, help us not allow sin to entrap us;  We ask You to bring freedom to what holds us.
God, we ask for this today.
Amen.”
