Morning Thoughts

A walk through life toward eternity

HE—Most Worthy of Our PRAISE!!!

PRAISE.

Praise is something most of us enjoy, especially when we have accomplished a task worthy of praise.
Take for example—

A child studies for days, weeks even, to memorize a dictionary of words to stand in front of a microphone, in competition against other scholars.  One will win the spelling bee, and when the one wins—PRAISE is sure to follow.  Then next year, the student  will need to prepare all over again in order to compete and win again.
That analogy is true for so many types of competitions:
Cross Country Runners.
Long or High Jumpers in a Track meet.
Musicians vying for first chair.
A gymnast performing a floor routine.
On & On & On & On
The world is filled with opportunities for children, teens, and adults to be named the “champion” of whatever competition & to receive the praise —-Praise For A Minute!
Then the one receiving praise for that moment of time must immediately begin preparing, and training, and striving to reach the pinnacle for what will become the next season of life.

BUT WHAT IF THE ONE RECEIVING PRAISE HAD—NO COMPETITIONNO WORTHY OPPONENT!

AND WHAT IF THE ONE RECEIVING PRAISE WAS NONE OTHER THAN OUR LORD!

Such a ONE does exist, but do not believe anything other than the Word of God.

ONLY HE—EVER DESERVES—OUR AUDIBLE PRAISE!!!

“Praise the LORD!
Praise, O servants of the LORD,
Praise the name of the LORD.
Blessed be the name of the LORD
From this time forth and forever.
From the rising of the sun to its setting
The name of the LORD is to be praised.
The LORD is high above all nations;
His glory is above the heavens.
Who is like the LORD our God,
Who is enthroned on high,
Who humbles Himself to behold
The things that are in heaven and in the earth?
He raises the poor from the dust
And lifts the needy from the ash heap,
To make them sit with princes,
With the princes of His people,
He makes the barren woman abide in the house
As a joyful mother of children.
Praise the LORD!

(Psalm 113:1-9)

Let us begin and end the day with our voices lifted in PRAISE to our LORD!

Do not believe anything other than the Word of God as proclaimed by the prophet Isaiah, who told of the salvation of the LORD.

“I will rejoice greatly in the LORD,
My soul will exult in my God;
For He has clothed me with garments of salvation,
He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness,
As a bridegroom decks himself with a garland,
And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels,
For as the earth brings forth its sprouts,
And as a garden causes the things sown in it to spring up,
So the LORD GOD will cause
righteousness and praise
To spring up before all the nations.

(Isaiah 61: 10-11)

Thank You God for our salvation.
Thank You God that Your Promises are True.
Thank You God that YOU Will Stand & Come Again.

Let all who has breath in his lungs—Lift Up Our Hands & Offer Praise to the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY!!!
To Our Most Wonderful LORD
PRAISE the LORD!
