Morning Thoughts

A walk through life toward eternity

Let us Be Grateful for God Is Working ALL Things Out—May We Be READY!

“Soon and very soon, we are going to see the King/
Soon and very soon, we are going to see the King/
Soon and very soon, we are going to see the King/

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! We’re going to see the King.”

Do we remember singing those lyrics?  The tempo was fun, and the words repetitive, but do we live as if “soon” could be today?  Or do we live as if soon could be right now?
The Son of God will return. It is a promise of GOD!

NEVER HAS GOD EVER LIED.
WHY WOULD HE BEGIN TO LIE NOW!?

We are constantly living within sight of God’s Second Coming, so we must live every moment in excellence and focused upon our mission—-Being Salt & Light.
Why?
Well, that is so simple.  Another individual could die lost and separated from God for all eternity!

Life is filled with chaos.  We are entering (in two weeks) our second Advent season amid Coronavirus, and this season of life has been so difficult. For some, it has been so hard to see the proverbial “light at the end of the tunnel” in relation to the world.
So, let us not!
Yes, that’s right!
Let us (the children of God) not look so intently for an end to this virus that plagues us as a people; rather, let us look for the King of Kings !!!!!!!!!

Allow me to share the words from the Bible, the words of Jesus Himself as He spoke to three of His disciples while they sat upon the Mount of Olives, looking toward the Jerusalem Temple.

“See to it that no one misleads you.
Many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He!’ and will mislead many.
When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be frightened; those things must take place; but that is not yet the end.
For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom;  there will be earthquakes in various places;  there will also be famines.
These things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.
But be on your guard;  for they will deliver you to the court, and you will be flogged in the synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them.
The gospel must first be preached to all the nations.
When they arrest you and hand you over, do not worry beforehand about what you are to say, but say whatever is given you in that hour; for it is not you who speak, but it is the Holy Spirit.” . . .

(Mark 13: 5-11)

Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.
But on that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.
Take heed, keep on the alert; for you do not know when the appointed time will come.”. . .

(Mark 13: 30-33)

“Soon and very soon, we are going to see the King.”

Yes, that’s right.

Soon and very soon, we are—ALL—going to see the King!
Are we—READY?
Is our neighbor—READY?
Are our children—READY?
Our close friends—Are they READY?

That day upon the mountain top, Peter, James, and John questioned Jesus, asking Him when the Jerusalem Temple would crumble and fall, leaving all stones upturned. That day, Jesus told them the truth.

Yes, that’s right.

JESUS TOLD THEM THE TRUTH THAT DAY!
JESUS NEVER LIES! JESUS NEVER LIES TODAY!
SOON. & VERY SOON, I AM GOING TO SEE THE KING!
SOON. &  VERY SOON, YOU ARE GOING TO SEE THE KING!
ARE WE READY?

HALLELUJAH!!!!!!

WE ARE GOING TO SEE THE KING!
TODAY COULD BE MY DAY OR YOUR DAY.

ARE WE READY FOR THAT DAY?

“Rejoice always;
Pray without ceasing;
In everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Do not quench the Spirit;
Do not despise prophetic utterances.
But examine everything carefully;
hold fast to that which is good;
Abstain from every form of evil.
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you entirely;  and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.”

(1 Thessalonians 5: 16-24)
