What do we see when we think of heaven?
Who do we think will be present there when we arrive?
What do we think the sounds of heaven will fill our ears?
What do we think will be possible to run our fingers overtop as we walk inside, walking through those immaculate gates?
Will what we think we know about heaven really BE what is really true once we arrive?

Thoughts of where we are going should most definitely fill our minds as we journey home.
HOME.

I love to be home; don’t you.  I love the relaxed state that comes when I walk inside the walls that surround the few items I call “my things,” and the people I call “my people.” Like you, when I arrive home (from hours away from home), it’s such a blessing to step through the door and encounter the sights, sounds, and tastes, and smells of our familiar “home,” sensing as we lovingly touch what we call “ours.”   Truly, I believe God blesses us with a dwelling, a home, a place to return to after a long journey or after a hard day’s work to help us better understand the preciousness of going home to heaven once our lives here are complete.

Truly, I believe God blesses us with an earthly dad to help us understand His love for His children (for us), just as God gives to us children to help us understand the love a parent experiences for his child.
Yes, the teachings of God assuredly apply to our homes and our children. 

God Prepares Us for the What’s Next.
Yes, We Can Believe It.
God always cares for His children.
Yes, We Can Believe It.
God knows our future home because He has prepared it for us, and it’s ever-ready to receive us when our “going-home” day comes.
Yes, We Can Believe It. 
One thing is 100% certain—-God is faithful to do what He has promised He will do.

(DO WE) Remember Sarah, how she prayed for a child?  Yes, that Sarah.
(DO WE) Remember the sons of Judah King Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, took from their homes to be prepared so they could be placed in service to the king?  Yes, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah.
(DO WE) Remember their present states (the states of adversity where they found themselves to be)?
DO WE REMEMBER GOD’S FAITHFULNESS WITHIN THEIR LIVES?
God sees us & God sees the future.
Yes, GOD does!!!
God knows us better than we even know ourselves because He created us and breathed His breath of life into us.
Yes, GOD does!!!
God hears our prayers, our cries, our anguish, our distress, even our joy and our hope.
Yes, GOD Does!!!
God walks with us daily (once we belong to Him).
Yes, GOD Does!!!
But do not believe me.  Believe God’s Word. 

“But Daniel made up his mind that he would not defile himself with the king’s choice food or with the wine which he drank; so he sought permission from the commander of the officials that he might not defile himself.
Now God granted Daniel favor and compassion in the sight of the commander of the officials,…”

“Then at the end of the days which the king had specified for presenting them, the commander of the officials presented them before Nebuchadnezzar. 
The king talked with them, and out of them all not one was found like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah; so they entered the king’s personal service.”

(Daniel 1: 8-9 & 18-19)

YES, GOD DID!!!

The Apostle Peter reminds us what we must be doing as we journey toward our home in heaven—-“Casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.”

(1 Peter 5:7)

YES, GOD DOES!!!

“Then the LORD took note of Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did for Sarah as He had promised. 
So Sarah conceived and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the appointed time of which God had spoken to him.”

(Genesis 21: 1-2)

YES, GOD DID!!!

Let us be filled with the JOY of our LORD on this beautiful day of remembrance. God Is Faithful……ALWAYS.
We are on a journey to the home God Himself has prepared specifically for each of us!!!
Yes, most definitely, let us walk into this day—-our LORD has made—-(IN CONFIDENCE), &
Let us step forward wherever He leads—-(IN COURAGE), &
Let us see heaven up ahead—–(IN CLARITY), &
Let us sense all the many pleasures our home in heaven will bring—-(FOCUSING UPON OUR FATHER), &
Let us allow God to change us step-by-step into His image—-(BECOMING MORE AND MORE LIKE JESUS as We Walk Home), &
Finally, let us Totally Trust God—-(WHEREVER HE LEADS OUR PATH), &

MAY WE EVERY DAY—-TRUST OUR HEAVENLY FATHER TO KEEP HIS PROMISES—-JUST AS WE READ GOD’S WORD AND SEE THE EXAMPLES OF SARAH & DANIEL.

They (Sarah and Daniel) saw God within their lives.
WE CAN TOO!!!!
We are going home to remain—-FOREVERMORE—-WITH GOD!!!!!!!!!
Whatever more can We Rely Upon & Hope for As We Walk Toward Home !!!!!!!!!!!!!

May our hearts be filled to overflowing with the Joy of the LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
