Morning Thoughts

A walk through life toward eternity

What Would We Ever Do….Without YOU!!!

“Come and Hear,
All who fear [who revere] God,
And I will tell [everyone we meet, all people] of what He [my Savior, the God of all] has done for my soul.
I cried to Him with my mouth,
And He was extolled [totally praised
‘Geprezen’ in Dutch] with my tongue.
If I regard wickedness in my heart,
The LORD will not hear [my lifted prayers];
But certainly God has heard;
He has [Jehovah God has] given heed to the voice of my prayer.
Blessed be God,
[Hallelujah to my LORD & Savior & King]
Who has not turned away my prayer
Nor His lovingkindness from me [nor from you who also believes].”

(Psalm 66: 16-20)

What plea readily comes to our lips every time we bow to pray?
What request is written upon our prayer list and circled and voiced?
What concern causes us to fall upon our knees before a most Holy God?
What praises do we lift every time we throw back our heads, lift up our hands, and sing praises to our God?
Who deserves our everything?
MOST DEFINITELY….Who deserves our everything?
WHO?
HOW DO WE SAY HIS NAME?

What holds us back?
Do we fear the ridicule of men, and do we seek to blend in with the world?
Do we stand out DIFFERENT. PECULIAR because we call You LORD?
What keeps us from walking in total obedience every moment of every day?
WHO do we bow to worship?
WHO whispers to our souls, & WHO gives us pause to worship and praise?
WHO can we not live without?
WHO do we give our All To?
WHO Is Our God?

There is a soulful melody by the band Equippers Revolution titled “Can’t Live Without You,” a melody that gives us pause, one we just may stop and listen to on this most beautiful day.
People ask us, “Why do we give our hearts to Father God?”  Do we know WHY?  Is our answer readily upon our lips?
We pencil down our prayers & we circle them, over and over, fully trusting that God will hear, and fully believing that He will answer?

And even when our days are done;  Even if today were our final day;  Even if today were our last day, the day when Jesus came to walk us home to heaven;  Even if our life was complete today……God would answer our prayers……Even when we are gone from this earth;  Even when we are dancing in our eternal home;  and Even when we are seeing God face-to-face in eternity.
STILL……THEN!!!!
Our prayers live on, even though we are gone.
A beautiful thought to ponder.
One that causes me to pause and exclaim,

“Thank You, God, for salvation.”
“Thank You, God, for hearing my prayers and for answering every request.”
“Thank You, God, for everything.”
“Yes, Thank You, God, for everything.”
“Blessed be God, whose Holy Spirit gathers our prayer requests and Who never turns away, but Who answers our prayers.”
“Your well [God] is so deep LORD.   Thank You, Jesus.”
“Your well of living water completely restores our soul.  Thank You, Jesus.”
“We are drawing from You [God] because we know You are our eternal source, our Living Water. As we draw from Your never-ending source, no longer will we ever thirst.”
“You [God] revive us from within.”
“Your water sustains us, and we desire to walk closer beside You more and more.”
“Our container, our cup is filled, running over the top, and sloshing out upon those who go with us through life.”
“Help us God to come to You….Empty….Ready to be Filled.”

“Help us God to Seek Your Forgiveness so we may become void of all wickedness.”
“Help us God to continually confess our sins and to be totally reliant upon You [God].”

What would we ever do…without you !!!

“Lead us LORD to obedience.”
“Lead us LORD from within.”
“Lead us LORD to see our sin.”
“Lead us LORD to see You.”
“Lead us LORD to really love others as You (do).”
“Lead us LORD to drink deeply from Your well.”
“Lead us LORD to seek You.”
“Lead us LORD to ask for Your filling, for Your hand, for Your guidance.”
“Lead us LORD to drink of Your Living Water.”
“Lead us LORD….To YOU.”
“Lead us LORD to see the blessing You provide upon our lives.”
“Lead us LORD to hear You.”
“Lead us LORD to see You.”
“Lead us LORD to become willing, obedient, pliable, and useful, as a vessel within Your Holy Hands.”
“Lead us LORD to You today.”

“All this day through….Lead us to seek YOU.”

“Thank You God for supplying all our needs.”
“Thank You God for conversing with us throughout every day.”
“Thank You God for remaining ever-present.”
“Thank You……GOD.”
“Yes, God……You are so GOOD.”
Thank You, Jesus, for leading us, for teaching when to pray.”

“It was at this time that He [Jesus] went off to the mountain to pray, and He spent the whole night in prayer to God.”

(Luke 6:12)

“Jesus, We Thank You for leading us by Your example.  What would we ever do without YOU, LORD!!!”
