The Bible is truth, and all who walk within the teachings of God’s Holy Word will walk, (as right as humanly possible, striving to follow God)…..BUT STILL, Christians will struggle in their decisions and in their plans and in their choices of activities and in their reactions because they (the believers) are not complete yet. They are not home…..YET.

Inspired by God, King Solomon had much to record about how we go about this thing we call LIVING WITHIN TODAY.

“Whatever your hand finds to do,
Do It with all your might;
for there is no activity or planning or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol where you are going”   (Ecclesiastes 9:10).

We oftentimes pause in our LIVING to gaze back at our string of YESTERDAYS already LIVED, and so, with that in mind, please travel with me as we consider the truth found within this verse…….looking at the verse…….backward.

“In Sheol (in death) where you are going” (10).
Death, a morbid thought for sure.  The day we are born is also the day we begin to die.  We attempt to squeeze all we can out of this life, and we should because it is also true that we only get one go around at living, and then comes our death.
So……..whatever age we hope to live to reach, then we better work hard to get this life lived…..right.   BUT, What if we don’t (live as long as we hope)?    Then, we better live TODAY with purpose and get this one TODAY right because TODAY lasts for only one, well you know, for one TODAY.
Truly, the only way to live secure in TODAY is to know where we are going if TODAY were our final TODAY, and that requires a realization of who God is & who we are not.
Heaven  &  Hell.

We have at this moment made our decision for our eternal destination.  It is a truth.

We cannot decide where we “go” for eternity…..after life, after we die; NO, we must decide during our lifetime, and if someone does not yet believe, then seeing that truth begins…..TODAY.
So we must seek the LORD and journey toward God’s eternal home in heaven, as we walk through this one TODAY.

“For there is no activity or planning or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol (in death)…” (10).
Activities……Complete.
Planning…….Unnecessary.
Knowledge……..Finished.
Wisdom………Knowing Jesus as our Savior.

After we die, our activities, our plans, our learning, and our walking beside Jesus is complete.

So we must seek the LORD and journey toward God’s eternal home in heaven, as we walk through this one TODAY.

“Do it with all your might…” (10).
Every day, TODAY, we should live wholeheartedly. That looks so different every morning when we arise, but we really need to get right the “wholeheartedly living” as we LIVE with all our might” TODAY.  
That does not mean we live crazy; NO.
That means we live with purpose………fully cognizant of WHO walks beside us as we go.  Have we asked Jesus to forgive us our sins, to live within us, and to guide our steps as we continually pray and study His Word….as we go?  That’s living with purpose.

So we must seek the LORD and journey toward God’s eternal home in heaven, as we walk through this one TODAY.

“Whatever your hand finds to do…” (10).
W–H–A–T–E–V–E–R.
Are we walking through this life with our hands open?
Are we walking through this life helping all we can help?
Are we walking through this life praying for others all we can?
Are we walking through this one life doing all we can to make another’s day….BETTER?
ARE WE GIVING OUR “WHATEVER” TO GOD EVERY MORNING WHEN WE ARISE?

Do not live with regrets……….TODAY.
Do not wish we had……….TODAY. 
Love as much as we can……….TODAY. 
Learn as much as we can……….TODAY.
Hug as tightly as we can……….TODAY.
Pray as much as we can……….TODAY.
Dance as much as we possibly can………..TODAY.
Read God’s Word all we can………..TODAY.
Witness, share God, with as many as we can……..TODAY.
Encourage all who we can………..TODAY.
Visit all we can………TODAY.

It’s a new day.
Let us walk through this day with Jesus, listening to His sweet Holy Spirit as we go, knowing God will judge us for the choices we have made.  It Is a TRUTH.

Yes…..May we choose today to walk with God. As the psalmist wrote as inspired by God —
“But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol, for He will receive me”  (Psalm 49:15).

So, let us not live our one TODAY as a dead man walking toward our death and separation from God, but let us…..Seek the LORD, fully giving our heart to Jesus, the Redeemer of our souls. Let us fully and completely give our heart 100% to God, as we walk this journey of life toward God’s eternal home in heaven
