JESUS MADE THE ONLY WAY!
“But the angel said to them,
(The Gospel According to Luke 2: 10-11 NASB)
“Do not be afraid;
for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people;
for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”
So many live afraid—
Afraid that they will die, knowing that when they do (die), life will be no more.
In the Bible, Dr. Luke spoke about the “good news of great joy” that “which will be for all the people,” for every person who ever lives.
Luke is clear—
The “good news” of Jesus’ birth is the “great joy” because “a Savior, who is Christ the Lord” has been sent by God Himself to bring salvation to the world, to us.
So to many, fear is palpably real. They fear that they will live this life and not experience all the fun, all the excitement this world has to offer. However, God’s Word tells us that the fun, the excitement of this world is not “great joy” because “good news of great joy” can only be found in a person—JESUS.
Holy God sent His only begotten Son into this world for one solitary reason—
To bring salvation to everyone who believes in Jesus & what He has done upon Calvary’s cross & in His resurrection from the tomb.
We do not need to stand in front of a temple wall or go to a confessional to speak to God because when Jesus willingly gave His life on the cross—
JESUS CHRIST MADE THE ONLY WAY FOR EACH PERSON:
- TO BE SAVED &
- TO HAVE DIRECT ACCESS TO GOD.
From that moment in time, we can call on the Lord at any moment, and He will hear our cry.
- No Fear of death—For Jesus provides salvation.
- No Fear of Satan’s evil—For the peace of God’s Holy Spirit resides within them.
- No Fear of separation—For the children of God will reside for eternity with Him.
- No Fear of hell’s torment—For the saints will go to heaven once this life is finished—when God calls them home.
JESUS MADE THE ONLY WAY TO KNOW GOD’S SALVATION—TO BE HEAVEN-BOUND!
“And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice,
(The Gospel According to Matthew 27: 50-54 NASB)
and yielded up His spirit.
[There on Calvary’s cross—
where Jesus was crucified for you & for me,
there, Jesus willingly gave His life]
And behold,
the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom;
and the earth shook
and the rocks were split.
The tombs were opened,
and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;
[Christians who had already died resurrected from the dead]
and coming out of the tombs after His resurrection
they entered the holy city and appeared to many.
Now the centurion, and those who were with him keeping guard over Jesus,
when they saw the earthquake
and the things that were happening,
became very frightened
[afraid because they recognized who Jesus was &
afraid because they did not yet know Jesus as Savior]
and said,
“Truly this was the Son of God!”
