GOD said it! Believe! “It is true.”
“It is true.”
(The Book of Isaiah 43: 9b-10 NASB)
“You are My witnesses,” declares the LORD,
“And My servant whom I have chosen,
So that you may know and believe Me
And understand that I am He.
Before Me there was no God formed,
And there will be none after Me.”
- Do you approach in confidence?—OR—Do you pray, hoping all will work out as it should?
- Do you stand in His authority?—OR—Do you slowly get to your feet, unsteady as you do?
- Do you boldly proclaim His salvation?—OR—Do you quietly keep your Savior to yourself, thankful that He saved you?
Questions demand answers.
We must know that we know that we know—that we are a child of God—because we cannot leave it to happenstance. Eternity Depends Upon It!
God’s statements speak with His authority!
Jehovah—Almighty God—the LORD—declared to His prophet to speak to the people of Israel these words, & today, it is clear, Jehovah—Almighty God—the LORD—has also declared this same declaration to us, to His children—
“It is true.”
“You are My witnesses,”
- Do you pray, hoping all will work out as it should?
OR
- Do you approach in confidence?
When we pray, we are not lifting our words to an empty room. We are lifting our prayers to the Son of God who sits at the right-hand of God, who intercedes for us with the Father. Make no mistake about it—We can NEVER pray enough!
When we pray, we enter directly into God’s throne room. As His child, God Himself gives us that privilege.
Thus, we need never be defeated in our daily lives for—We can NEVER listen enough to Our Father’s instruction & direction. He protects, secures, and sustains us.
IT IS A PROMISE FROM GOD!
- Do you quietly keep your Savior to yourself, thankful that He saved you?
OR
- Do you boldly proclaim His salvation?
Throughout the entirety of the Word of God, we find Scripture that reiterates this truth—We Who Know Jesus Are To Share Jesus With Those Who Do Not Yet Know Jesus As Their Savior!
The Great Commission—It is a Command given directly by JESUS HIMSELF & not a suggestion!
“And My servant whom I have chosen,

- Do you slowly get to your feet, unsteady as you do?
OR
- Do you stand in His authority?
Jesus tells us in the Gospel According to Mark, that if we have faith, then we have the authority to speak to a mountain, telling it to move from here to there, and the mountain must obey. Stop & Digest that Truth. If you are like me, then, you have read this passage and attempted to believe it, but truthfully, maybe (like me) you are skeptical about the mountains moving at your command.
But, GOD said it! Believe! “It is true.”
LET’S THINK ABOUT THE MOUNTAINS, THE CHALLENGES, WE FACE.
- Quite possibly, we have a wayward child who needs to come to Jesus.
- Maybe we have a concern that looms larger, standing tall overtop us.
- Could it be that we have an addiction, a struggle with something that brings us much guilt?
- Then there’s the thoughts we allow our minds to dwell upon, even though we know we should not allow our brains to stop and plant there.
“PRAISE YOU ANYWHERE” by Brandon Lake might just be the melody that we should listen to over and over today.
God is Good!
All The Time—God is Good!
HE Alone is Worthy of All Our Praise!
Do we believe it?
Do we live as we do—believe it?
Do we speak as we do—believe it?
Do we walk as we do—believe it?
- As a child of the KING of kings & LORD of Lords, we cannot lose—ever & forevermore!
- As GOD’S child, walk in assurance of the HOPE we have received, secure—for all eternity!
- As a follower of JESUS CHRIST, live & verbally testify of our SAVIOR & LORD—even today!
Let us finish this thought by reading more of the Word of God given to His prophet Isaiah.
“I, even I, am the LORD,
(The Book of Isaiah 43: 11-13 NASB)
And there is no savior besides Me.
It is I who have declared and saved and proclaimed,
And there was no strange god among you;
So you are My witnesses,” declares the LORD,
[This is not a request but a command from ALMIGHTY GOD!]
“And I am God.
Even from eternity I am He,
And there is none who can deliver out of My hand;
I act and who can reverse it?”
GOD commands that we Testify of HIS TRUTH!
GOD said it!
Believe His Word!
GOD declared, “It is true.”
