SPIRITUAL SURGERY—THE MIRACLE of NEW BIRTH in CHRIST JESUS!
- Physical birth is a miracle of God & Spiritual birth starts with repentance, with faith in Jesus.
- New life in Christ Jesus is a miracle of God; thus submersion in the baptismal waters proclaims to the watching world—“Hey, I AM BRAND NEW!”
Christianity is faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who is the Messiah, the Savior & Redeemer of all the world. Only through Jesus’ sacrificial death & resurrection from the dead—can we become—God’s children.
“For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form,
(The Letter of Paul to the Colossians 2: 9-12 NASB)
and in Him you have been made complete,
and He is the head over all rule and authority;
and in Him
you were also circumcised with a circumcision made without hands,
in the removal of the body of the flesh
by the circumcision of Christ;
having been buried with Him in baptism,
in which you were also raised up with Him through faith
in the working of God,
who raised Him from the dead.”
Our journey on earth passes quickly. One moment we are born, held as babies, crawl as toddlers, walk as small children, and grow up to become school-age children, teenagers, young adults, mature adults, & then elderly adults. Life Passes.
Now, this statement is given, not to sadden us but to encourage us.
Life Passes—therefore, we must be focused upon the Great Commission Jesus, our Savior, has instructed us to do.
However, our faith, starts with a single step, a first step, a movement from unbelief to belief.
Have you placed your faith in Jesus Christ?
Such a simple question, one we often fail to ask those people we meet, but we should, asking God’s Holy Spirit to lead our conversations to opportunities to testify what God has done within us.

Then we step into the baptismal waters, proclaiming to the world—“Hey, I BELONG TO JESUS & NOW AM BRAND NEW from the inside out!”
Transformed!
- Once we were this & now, praise God, we are this!
- Once we were the dead, walking toward eternal separation—from God—headed toward hell.
BUT GOD MADE THE WAY!
So now, we are alive, MADE NEW THROUGH JESUS, walking toward eternal togetherness—with God—headed toward our eternal home in heaven.
“When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh,
He made you alive together with Him,
- having forgiven us all our transgressions,
- having canceled out the certificate of debt
consisting of decrees against us,
which was hostile to us; and
(The Letter of Paul to the Colossians 2: 13-14 NASB)
- He has taken it out of the way,
- having nailed it to the cross.”
Do not move from the depth of just exactly what Jesus Christ has done for you, for me, and for all the people who have been born on the earth.
- Dwell there!
- Stay planted there!
- Immerse yourself in the depth of God’s Great Love for you!
Surround your entire being in this fact—God’s Amazing Grace—was just for you!

I have often heard it said: “Jesus would have died upon the cross for just one person, one sinner, one person who needed His Saving Grace!”
- THAT PERSON IS YOU!
- THAT PERSON IS ME!
THAT PERSON IS EVERY SINGLE BABY BORN TODAY & EVERY CHILD, TEEN & ADULT!
The turning point begins with our FAITH.
The journey with Christ begins with a solitary step of turning away from unbelief and turning toward faith in JESUS.
- We, who were once bound for hell, are now—through God—through Jesus’ death on the cross—are made alive and forgiven of all our sins.
- We, who were once bound for hell, are now—by the GRACE OF GOD—are headed to an everlasting life.
Our journey on earth passes quickly.
