The Proof!
“And I heard a loud voice from the throne,
(The Revelation to John 21: 3 NASB)
saying, “Behold the tabernacle of God
is among men, and He will dwell among them,
and they shall be His people,
and God Himself will be among them,”
In the Bible, the apostle John leaves no room for doubt. Even as the world cries, “Show me how you know there really is a God,” the Word of God empathically states, YES, GOD EXISTS!
The world of people may say, “God is dead,” but God Himself dwells within every believer at the moment of their salvation & He will someday dwell forevermore, beside every single one of us who believe.
The proof—The Bible says so!
Later today, a Solar Eclipse is promised. The astronomers have been studying and writing about this extraordinary occurrence for several years. I have driven with friends so that I may stand in the TOTALITY of the SUN’S ECLIPSE that is promised at half past three pm. For four minutes and twenty-six seconds, darkness will descend upon the earth as the moon passes in front of the sun. You can believe that I will be standing alongside the others present near me, gazing toward the sky, all wearing our protective eyeglasses.
- We will see the sun darkened.
- We will hear the deafening silence.
- We will feel the cool temperatures as the day becomes night.
- We will experience the Almighty touch of God as He displays His wonder.
- We will taste the victory of God’s omnipotence.
The proof—The evidence found in this day will prove it so!
We cannot know for sure, but it seems like we will always live in a place where there will be naysayers. Unfortunately, not everyone we encounter today will be willing to hear us speak about God’s love, and there will be those who just become angry as we speak Jesus’ name. However, we who believe are to do so anyway. There is a day coming when the time of decision will cease to exist.
The Proof—Jesus Himself proves it so!
“Being found in the appearance as a man, He
(The Letter of Paul to the Philippians 2: 8-11 NASB)
humbled Himself by becoming obedient to
the point of death, even death on the cross.
For this reason also, God highly exalted Him,
and bestowed on Him the name which
is above every name,
so that at the name of Jesus
EVERY KNEE WILL BOW,
of those who are in heaven and
on earth and under the earth,
and that every tongue will confess that
Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.”
- Heaven came down to earth!
- Our Savior humbled Himself to become just like us!
- Our Redeemer gave His life, even through the curse found in dying upon the cross!
God exalted Jesus!
God sent His Only Son to obediently offer Himself up—once and for all!
When Jesus stands one day and comes again, then every person alive will bow down before Him!
The proof—The Bible says so!
When Jesus comes, every person living & every person who has already died and gone to heaven & every person who has already died and gone to hell—will bow down & confess Jesus!
The proof—God’s Holy Word says so!
“Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.”
The proof—God sent Jesus to redeem His creation!
The proof—God loves us that much!
The proof—Almighty God is the Father of All who receive Him into their heart & confess Him!
Truly, there is no denying The Proof of what is found in God’s Promises!
Just as true, our obedience to God can be found in our daily actions.
- May we not be conformed to this world.
- May we stand, set apart, displaying the light of the world as we are commanded.
- May we remember who we have accepted in Truth & who is our Father.
- May we always display ourselves as His children.
Because—
- May we never forget—The world is watching!
“Therefore, prepare your minds for action,
(The First Letter of Peter 1: 13-16 NASB)
keep sober in spirit,
fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you
at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
As obedient children,
do not be conformed to the former lusts
which were yours in your ignorance,
but like the Holy One who called you,
be holy yourselves also in all your behavior;
because it is written,
“YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY.”
