FAITH With Legs Attached
If you suddenly disappeared and no longer existed on earth, would anyone other than those closest to you know you went home to be with the LORD?
- Are you reaching the world for CHRIST?
- Are you willing to each day pray, “LORD, not my selfish will but Your will be done in my life today”?
- Are you following the leading of the HOLY SPIRIT?
- Are you living for the world to see only JESUS?
There are some verses in God’s Word that are well known, so ‘popular’ (if you will) that many a church-goer can recite them from memory. Consider these—
- John 3: 16
- Genesis 1: 1
- Revelation 1:8
- Acts 1: 8
- John 1: 1
- Psalm 23
- Romans 3:23
- Revelation 3: 20
- Romans 6: 23
Yes, there are just some Scriptures that resonate deep within us, but what about all the rest? What about the way the LORD speaks through His Word every time we open to read the Bible? What about the verses that we have not yet memorized? Consider these—
“For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness.
(The Letter of Paul to the Romans 6: 20-22 NASB)
Therefore what benefit were you then deriving from the things of which you are now ashamed?
For the outcome of those things is death.
But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit,
resulting in sanctification,
and the outcome, eternal life.”
OR—
“Therefore Pilate said to Him, “So You are a king?”
(The Gospel According to John 18: 37 NASB)
Jesus answered,
“You say correctly that I am a king.
For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth.
Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”
OR—
“Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel.”
(The Book of Isaiah 7: 14 NASB)
We say during Christmastime: Jesus is the reason for the season.
But also true—
- We are the reason (the sins we have committed) Jesus had to die on the cross at Calvary.
Our sin (yours and mine) truly is the reason Jesus laid down His life so that our sin could be ‘atoned’ through His death and resurrection. Once we accept this truth, believe Jesus is Who He Says He Is & Confess our sins against God, immediately it is JUST—AS—IF—I—NEVER SINNED.
- Justification is a BIG ‘churchy’ word but one so easily understood that a five-year-old can accept this truth.
- Sanctification is a BIG ‘churchy’ word but one so readily accepted that a brand-new Christian can immediately begin to walk with Christ in newness of life.
- Glorification is a BIG ‘churchy’ word but one so eagerly received that a Believer miraculously walks from this life into eternity with God the Father.

Salvation!
Enlightened!
Submitted & Obedient!
Today, I wonder—
- Have I only memorized the most-common verses, the ones most-popular?
- Do I really have a faith that leads me to step out in whatever way the LORD leads me to step?
- Am I totally ‘sold-out’ for JESUS?
Yes, today, I really wonder: Am I walking by FAITH With Legs Attached?
- Have we who call ourselves ‘CHRISTIANS,’ surrendered out hearts to our Savior Jesus Christ?
Let us focus on the ‘REAL’ reason for this Christmastime &
- Let us worship the KING of kings 365 days of every year.
- Let us repent of the fact that if we suddenly disappeared from the face-of-the-earth, there are some people within our circle of influence that would not have a clue that we went home to heaven.
Starting today and continuing on—Let us Walk Through Our Remaining Days in FAITH With Legs Attached.
“It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost of all.
(The First Letter of Paul to Timothy 1: 15-17 NASB)
Yet for this reason I found mercy, so that in me as the foremost, Jesus Christ might demonstrate His perfect patience as an example for those who would believe in Him for eternal life.
Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever Amen.”
