Consider—GOD’S MAGNIFICENT CREATION!
In today’s world, so many enjoy posting photographs on social media: sunsets, sunrises, rainbows, and nature.
Lately, I have found myself drawn to these images captured & posted.
Consider This Remarkable Truth: JEHOVAH GOD HAS GIVEN THE SAME SUNSET, THE SAME SUNRISE, THE SAME RAINBOW, & THE SAME NATURE—TO EVERY SINGLE PERSON ALIVE—WHETHER THE PERSON IS A BELIEVER IN GOD or IS NOT.
Lately, as I drive to the university in the dawning of the new day, I have found myself drawn to God’s magnificent display, the way HE TINTS THE CLOUDS WITH COLOR IN THE EASTERN SKY. To be honest, as I drive westward toward the place where I am blessed with the opportunity to teach, I struggle to not focus on my rearview mirror and the eastern sky. Oftentimes, I have so wished my place of employment resided east rather than west.
Lately, I have considered how God places these things side-by-side, teaching us, positioning us, leading us, & instructing us.
TRULY, HERE ON EARTH, GOD PREPARES US FOR HIS GLORY!
Please consider with me the way creation is a testimony of God’s power & His glory that ONLY GOD ALONE COULD CREATE!
The psalmist records in the Bible these amazing truths—
“Bless the LORD, O my soul!
(Psalm 104: 1-4 NASB)
O LORD my God, You are very great;
You are clothed with splendor and majesty,
Covering Yourself with light as with a cloak,
Stretching out heaven like a tent curtain.
He lays the beams of His upper champers in the waters;
He makes the clouds His chariot;
He walks upon the wings of the wind;
He makes the winds His messengers,
Flaming fire His ministers.”
Oh wow!
Oh, my goodness—WOW—OH—WOW!
- Can we pause right here and marvel at God’s Creation!!!
- Can we pause at this instant and see the way God has allowed us to actively participate within His Creation!!!
- Can we pause now and lift our eyes, our hands & even our voices as we sing: “GOD, YOU ARE MAJESTIC IN ALL YOUR WAYS!
- THANK YOU, GOD, FOR ALLOWING US (every man, woman, boy & girl) TO EXPERIENCE YOUR AMAZING BEAUTY!”
Let us see the psalmist’s words, as he explains ALL THE LORD GOD HAS DONE—
“He established the earth upon its foundations,
(Psalm 104: 5-9 NASB)
So that it will not totter forever and ever.
You [GOD] covered it with the deep as with a garment;
The waters were standing above the mountains.
At Your rebuke they fled.
At the sound of Your thunder they hurried away.
The mountains rose; the valleys sank down
To the place which You established for them.
You set a boundary that they may not pass over,
So that they will not return to cover the earth.”
Immediately, I considered the rainbow, the covenant God Himself established with Noah after God caused a flood to cover the earth with water because of mankind’s sinfulness. In that instant, I found myself racing toward the book of Genesis to re-read the account of Jehovah God’s promise He made with Noah and with us.
Consider with me how GOD HIMSELF CREATED & PLACED A COVENANT REMINDER IN HIS CLOUD!
“Then God spoke to Noah and to his sons with him, saying,
“Now behold, I Myself do establish My covenant with you, and with your descendants after you;
and with every living creature that is with you, the birds, the cattle, and every beast of the earth with you;
of all that comes out of the ark,
even every beast of the earth.
I establish My covenant with you;
[GOD’S COVENANT]
and all flesh shall never again be cut off by the water of the flood, neither shall there again be a flood to destroy the earth.”
God said,
“This is the sign of the covenant which I am making between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all successive generations;
[GOD’S COVENANT SIGN]
I set My bow in the cloud, . . .”
“And God said to Noah,
“This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is on the earth.”
(Genesis 9: 8-13a & 17 NASB)
Yes, lately, I have found myself drawn to these images captured & posted across social media. As I gaze at these photographs, I find myself Considering This Remarkable Truth: JEHOVAH GOD HAS GIVEN ALL OF HIS CREATED WORLD—TO EVERY SINGLE PERSON ALIVE—WHETHER THE PERSON BELIEVES IN GOD OR DOES NOT!
Nevertheless, at the very same time I have found myself drawn to the beauty of the eastern, morning sky & to the gorgeous rainbow God places into the cloud & the posted images of God’s Creation, I am also saddened too.
There is this Remarkable Truth ALL of GOD’S CREATION MUST REALIZE!
- Only the child of God—those who have chosen to accept Christ, to believe in Jesus & who confess their sins against Holy God—now walks daily with God in an intimate relationship.
BE TRULY AMAZED BY GOD’S MAGNIFICENT CREATION DISPLAYED!
- However, a person who does not know Jesus as his Savior, can only ‘enjoy’ nature & what he ‘sees’ here on earth, because one day his life here will end.
May We Consider—GOD’S MAGNIFICENT CREATION!
Let us conclude with the psalmist’s words, as he explains ALL THE LORD, JEHOVAH GOD CREATES, TEACHES, SUSTAINS, & CONTROLS—
“You [GOD] hide Your face, they are dismayed;
You take away their spirit, they expire
And return to their dust.
You send for Your Spirit, they are created;
And You renew the face of the ground.
Let the glory of the LORD endure forever;
Let the LORD be glad in His works;
He looks at the earth, and it trembles;
He touches the mountains, and they smoke.
I will sing to the LORD as long as I live;
I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
Let my meditation be pleasing to Him;
As for me, I shall be glad in the LORD.
Let sinners be consumed from the earth
And let the wicked be no more.
Bless the LORD, O my soul.
Praise the LORD!”
(Psalm 104: 29-35 NASB)

LET US BE FULLY AWARE—IT’S ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!
LORD, PLEASE LET EVERYONE HAVE EYES
