Morning Thoughts

A walk through life toward eternity

God—Himself—Is Here!

“I am not able to carry all this people by myself, because it is too burdensome for me.”

(Numbers 11: 14 NASB)

Have we ever felt that we are “run-ragged”?

Have we ever felt at “the end of our rope”?

Have we ever felt “prayed out” over a situation or over a person we have prayed long into so many days and nights?

Have we ever just felt & maybe even whispered to God:  “LORD, I am just so done, so tired, so exhausted from this burden, from this prayer-concern, from this health-struggle, or from this life-heaviness?

Do we ever think, “I need a sabbatical from worry about _________________ ” (fill in the blank)?

Do we ever struggle to get away from our concern over __________________ (fill in the blank)?

Moses did.

Moses did, & God has provided us the opportunity to look at Moses, to see his human struggle, and to learn from him.

Moses’ task was of such importance:  Lead the children of Israel out of bondage, out of slavery (from under the Egyptians), and bring them (ALL) into God’s Promised Land.  Oh my!  What a humongous task for just one man.

Sure, his brother, Aaron, was there.

Sure, the path from Point A to Point B was clear.

Nevertheless, Moses became mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically—Fatigued—and it was a Fatigue with a capital “F.”  He was bone-tired.  He was exhausted.  He was so done with everyone and everything.

  • Moses needed a reminder.
  • Moses needed a whisper.

Moses needed a recalling of the TRUTH:  He needed to know how God Himself was there!

  • Today, we need a reminder.
  • Today, need a whisper.

Today, we need a recalling of the TRUTH:  We need to remember how God—Himself—Is Here With us!

Hallelujah!  Praise the King of kings!

Not only is God—Himself—Here with us right now (today), but also, God—Himself—will be with us to the very end.

God knows how human we are because God is our creator, and He knows our limitations.

God has provided us the opportunity to look at Jesus, to see the way he cared for His disciples, and to learn from Jesus, the Savior and Redeemer.

“Now before the Feast of the Passover, Jesus, knowing that His hour had come that He would depart from this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.”

(John 13: 1 NASB)

We are not responsible for everyone.

We are not responsible for everything.

That’s God’s job!

We are not responsible for anyone.

We are not responsible for anything.

We are not filled with the power to save anyone from anything.

That’s Jesus’ job!

Oh, How wonderfully lifting it is to remember when we become so burdened for another, that we are not responsible for saving that someone from anything.  Hallelujah!  Praise the King of kings!  We have a Savior Jesus Christ who took that task upon Himself.

JESUS—HE ALONE IS THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD!

JESUS—HE ALONE IS THE ONE WHO PROMISES TO CARRY OUR BURDENS!

JESUS—HE ALONE IS THE PROMISE-KEEPER!

JESUS—HE ALONE IS THE VINE, & WE ARE MERELY THE BRANCHES!

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.”

(John 15: 1 NASB)

We only have one job.  Yes, that is 100% correct—One Solitary Job, and Jesus Himself tells us plainly our task—

“Just as the Father has loved Me, I also loved you;  remain in My love.”

(John 15: 9 NASB)

Today, may we listen to the melody by NEEDTOBREATHE & may we be reminded that we are Forevermore “Washed by the Water.”

“Even when the rain falls, I am washed by the water.

Even when the storm comes, I am washed by the water.

I am [forever] washed by the [Living] water [of God].”

Therefore, let’s unpack exactly what God promises us (a promise that He also gave to Moses, a promise God established from the beginning when He walked with Adam in relationship in the Garden of Eden).

JESUS loves His own!

YES, JESUS—YOU ARE THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD!

YES, JESUS—YOU ARE THE ONE WHO PROMISES TO CARRY OUR BURDENS!

YES, JESUS—YOU ARE THE PROMISE-KEEPER!

YES, JESUS—YOU ARE THE VINE, & WE ARE MERELY THE BRANCHES!

YES, JESUS—LOVED HIS DISCIPLES TO THE END!

YES, GOD—LOVES US TO THE VERY END!

GOD knows we remain here in the world, and HE knows we carry so many burdens of prayer.

GOD knows the concerns we continually lift to HIM.

&

GOD knows we need others, fellow believers, who join with us in lifting our prayer concerns.

GOD knew from the beginning we could not do the “life-walk” alone; so HE gave Adam a helper named Eve.

&

GOD knows we remain here in the world because HE left us here on purpose—to fulfill HIS Purpose!

GOD knew HE was only allowing HIS SON to come here for a brief time, and that is why GOD gave us a part of HIMSELF—HIS HOLY SPIRIT when HE brought Jesus back home to heaven!

GOD—HIMSELF—Is Here With Us!

Let that sink in for awhile. Dwell there. Breathe in God’s Promise.

Throughout our Every Single Day.

Throughout our Every Single Thing.

Let us sing loudly with the band for KING & COUNTRY—“FOR GOD IS WITH US!”

GOD—HIMSELF—Is Here With Us!

GOD—HIMSELF—Will Remain Here With Us to the Very End of Our Days!

GOD—HIMSELF—Will Bring Us to Our Eternal Home!
