Morning Thoughts

A walk through life toward eternity

What Has God Not Seen?

When I read this question, I suddenly thought, “NOTHING!

God has NEVER NOT SEEN EVERYTHING!

How in the world could someone EVER THINK of ANYTHING GOD HAS NOT SEEN?!!!!”

Those were my thoughts.  To be honest, I was flabbergasted, offended, and even considered throwing aside what I was reading when I read that question, but then I became intrigued and read on to find the writer’s “supposed” answer to the question:  What Has God Not Seen?

The Word of God speaks truth—All the time!

All the time—the Word of God speaks truth!

“Who is a God like You, who pardons wrongdoing
And passes over a rebellious act of the remnant of His possession?”

(Micah 7: 18a NASB)

God does not glance our way, see our sin, and then forget.  No, God sees EVERYTHING we do; God hears EVERYTHING we speak or think;  God knows ALL THINGS about every person alive!

Our sinful nature can never cancel God’s promises!

  • God is faithful—all the time!
  • All the time—God is faithful!

God is God, and since He is, this is what He will do.

  • God will—always FORGIVE OUR SINS!
  • God will—GRACIOUSLY PARDON US!
  • God will—ALWAYS ALLOW US TO RETURN TO HIM IN REPENTANCE!

“He does not retain His anger forever,
Because He delights in mercy.
He will again take pity on us;
He will trample on our wrongdoings.
Yes, You will cast all their sins
Into the depths of the sea.
You will give truth to Jacob
And favor to Abraham,
Which You swore to our forefathers
From the days of old.”

(Micah 7: 18b-20 NASB)

Every day, all 365 (and even 366 during Leap Year) is an opportunity to praise God!

Jesus taught us this truth when He raised His friend Lazarus back to life.

1st—Jesus thanked God for Hearing His prayer, even before He asked God His request.

2nd—Jesus told us why He thanked God.  It was for us (you and me) so we may believe in God who sent Jesus to earth.

3rd—Jesus cried out in prayer and commanded Lazarus to come out of the grave.

4th—Jesus reminded us as we see Lazarus obey the voice of Jesus and walk out of the grave—alive after four days dead—that Jesus is God in the flesh and that He can raise the dead to new life.

5th—Jesus told those standing there amazed to unbind the body of Lazarus who was wrapped inside his death cloth; Jesus always unbinds that which traps our dead body walking in newness of life, which HE HAS GIVEN TO US!

Do not believe me but believe God’s Word.

The Word of God speaks truth—All the time!

All the time—the Word of God speaks truth!

“Jesus said to her, [to Martha, one of Lazarus’ sisters] “Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
So they removed the stone.  And Jesus raised His eyes, and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.
But I knew that You always hear Me;  nevertheless, because of the people standing around I said it, so that they may believe that You sent Me.”

And when He had said these things, He cried out with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!”
Out came the man who had died, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped around with a cloth.  Jesus said to them, “Unbind him, and let him go.”

(John 11: 40-44 NASB)

God is God, and Jesus is God in the flesh!

Since He is, this is what He will do.

  • God will—always FORGIVE OUR SINS—because of what Jesus did for us upon the cross!
  • God will—GRACIOUSLY PARDON US—because of His mercy in not giving us what we deserve!
  • God will—ALWAYS ALLOW US TO RETURN TO HIM IN REPENTANCE—when we Accept, Believe, and Confess our Sins!

The judgment of God is coming for every person at the moment of the person’s death!

God is holy & He says He hates sin!

Our sinfulness cannot enter the eternal paradise of heaven, the presence of God forevermore!

Sin is Sin and it will always remain against God until God pardons and forgives our sin.

What Has God Not Seen?

GOD has NEVER seen HIS equal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God will pardon us, restore us, forgive us, save our souls—Not because of who we are but—because of WHO HE IS, the SAVIOR of the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone in the world NEEDS JESUS!

“Who is a God like You, who pardons wrongdoing
And passes over a rebellious act of the remnant of His possession?
He does not retain His anger forever,
Because He delights in mercy.
He will again take pity on us;
He will trample on our wrongdoings.
Yes, You will cast all their sins
Into the depths of the sea.”

(Micah 7: 18-19 NASB)
