I LOVE the word “Nevertheless” because in that word—We See Hope!
The situation seems hopeless; nevertheless the LORD does the impossible!
Their sorrow is heavy; nevertheless, GOD turns their mourning into joy!
Their guilt is overwhelming; nevertheless, the Lord Jesus Christ reigns for eternity!
Their future appears bleak; nevertheless, the Messiah has come!
Their sinfulness keeps them trapped; nevertheless, God frees them from the pit of hell!
NEVER—THE—LESS!
FOREVER—THE—MORE!
Jesus Himself, the KING of Kings said: “I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.” (John 10:11 NASB)
THE QUESTION: How can we know God fights for our good, for our situation, for our future?
THE ANSWER: We see God do exactly what He says He will do!
THE QUESTION: How do we know God keeps His word?
