Morning Thoughts

A walk through life toward eternity

Two People: The Saved & The Lost—Which Are You?

“God has looked down from heaven upon the sons of mankind

To see if there is anyone who understands,

Who seeks after God.”

(Psalm 53: 2 NASB)

There is something of ultimate importance that needs to be said:  God seeks to share a relationship with YOU!

With You, in every decision you make, in every life-step you take, and in every breath you breathe.  God looks down from heaven, and He sees all that we do, all that we think, all that we hope to accomplish, and God seeks for us to allow Him to take ahold of our hand as He walks us through this life.

Have you placed your hand into God’s (hand)?

Have you given your heart to Him (to God)?

In some places, as we read the Word of Holy God, it seems as if the LORD pauses, and in the breath of a moment, we hear a “BUT” spoken with the greatest authority because we sense in that millisecond, in that breath, that Almighty God has spoken.

“The fool has said in his heart,

‘There is no God.’

They are corrupt, and have committed abominable injustice;

There is no one who does good.

“God has looked down from heaven upon the sons of mankind

To see if there is anyone who understands,

Who seeks after God.”

(Psalm 53: 1-2 NASB)

Each person born, walks this ribbon-road we call “our life,” and as we do, we must decide whether we will walk alone or whether we will walk with God.

God seeks to walk in relationship with each person alive.  Yes, for 100% sure.

Our LORD desires a relationship, an intimacy, a space where it’s just HIM and you & HIM and me—existing together.

God wants that for every single person alive.

I spoke with two uniquely different people.  Both were created by God.  In fact, God created both within the very same year.

  • One spoke of prayer as life-decisions were made, of walking in relationship, of being led by God, of trusting God with the next life-directions, of sharing relationships with other believers, of travels to see God’s beautiful earth, of where God is leading, of decisions for tomorrow if God allows for tomorrow, and of reliance upon the Father.
  • The other spoke of life as something that just happens, of living with self-made decisions, of adventure, of self, of no thought of a higher power, of pleasures found upon this earth, of what could be accomplished today, of plans for tomorrow, and of the relationships found in people.

Two distinctly different people who shared a birth-year BUT who walked in separate directions.

  • One sought God;  one did not.
  • One was foolish; one was wise.
  • One understood eternity; one turned blindly away from the Light of God.
  • One walked by faith; one walked by sight.
  • One spoke of God; one spoke of this life.
  • One spoke of Bible passages that brought joy; one never mentioned God.

There are two groups of people walking across the face of this earth.

There is only one humanity.

There is only one Creator.

There is only one mankind, but there are two distinct groups.

BUT

There is one decision.

An eternal decision that leads one to walk toward two distinctly different eternities!

One Decision that a person cannot wait to decide at death.

One Decision that needs to be made today.

One God.

One Hope.

One Truth.

Two People.

Those Saved by Almighty God.

&

Those Who Remain Lost—Who Reject a Holy and Righteous Savior.

One Word of God!

One Way—Jesus!

One Cross of Calvary!

One Death!

One Resurrection!

ONE WAY to Know GOD!

Most definitely, God’s Word speaks with authority!

Most assuredly, there are only two people groups:  The Saved  &  The Lost.

So—Which Are You?

So—Where Do You Belong?

So—Where Does Your Heart Reside?

So—Where Is Your Eternal Home?

Please Read with me & See God’s Truth for every person alive.

Romans 3: 23—We all have a sin-debt we cannot repay.

Romans 6: 23—What we deserve for our sin & What God offers to each of us.

Romans 5: 6-8—Where we are in our sin & What our Savior did for each person alive!

John 14:6The Only Way to receive God’s Gift of Salvation—JESUS!

Romans 10: 8-10—One Confession.  One Decision.  One Faith!

Yes, two peopleBUT—

Just One Solitary Decision:  Do I believe & trust in God’s Son Jesus?—OR—Will I Remain Lost?
