Saying What’s Already Been Spoken; Writing What’s Already Been Written; Singing What’s Already Been Sung! STILL, WE DO.
James, an earthly brother of Jesus of Nazareth, a servant of Christ Jesus, and a disciple of the Father wrote these words—
“Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.
In the exercise of His will He gave us birth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures.”
(James 1: 17-18 NASB)
Wonderful, Merciful Savior!
The Word, made Alive!
What A Beautiful Name is His Name!
Each of the above statements are a label, a title, a proclamation; nevertheless, they speak truth.
Each of the melody titles listed can be found while listening to a Christian radio station and are broadcast for many to hear; they sing the gospel.
Each of the statements may be words we recognize and desire to hear; thankfully, the Father of creation made each one possible through our faith.
Jesus was & is the Son of God, even before the world knew him as Jesus the Nazarite.
Jesus was & is the Savior of the world, even before the world decided to crucify Him upon the cross.
Jesus was & is the Redeemer of sinful man, even before the Father sent Him to do His will.
The Father—The Son of God—The Spirit of God—present, even before the world was!
Truly, there is nothing we could ever say about Almighty God that has not already been spoken. &
Truly, there is nothing we could ever write about our heavenly Father that has not yet been written.
Truly, there is nothing we could ever sing about our heavenly Father that has not already been sung, BUT—
Still, we do!
- Still, we speak the name of Jesus.
- Still, we pray to the Father asking for His Spirit to guide us throughout our day.
- Still, we write to share our Savior with the world.
- Still, we sing for all the world around us to hear.
Still, we do!
Yes, we go around Saying What’s Already Been Spoken & Writing What’s Already Been Written; Singing What’s Already Been Heard; and the world of the lost may ask.
WHY?
Why do we persist?
Why do we continue?
Why speak words that others have already heard?
Why write words that others know the message even before they read?
Why sing the melodies others have already listened to?
- It is all because the melodies, the slogans, the titles, the statements, the words—Are Truth!
- It is all because the Father of creation made each one possible through—His Gospel, His Goodness!
“Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above. . .” [from Father God!]
[Everything is!]
“coming down from the Father of lights, . . .”
“with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.”
[God Never Will Alter or Change!]
HE WAS! HE IS! & HE WILL ALWAYS BE!
“In the exercise of His will . . .”
[in the will of Jehovah God, the Father of all nations]
“He gave us birth by the word of truth, . . .”
[God sent His Only Son so humanity could be reborn]
[through the Word of God—through JESUS!]
Why?
For whatever reason would the Father of lights elect to send Jesus to this sinful world?
“so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures.”
(James 1: 17-18 NASB)
YOU [JESUS] are the One we praise!
YOU [HOLY SPIRIT] are the One we adore!
YOU [FATHER GOD] give the healing and grace!
May we recognize God’s goodness.
May we run toward Jesus.
May we bow down in adoration, thankful that He saves us.
May we seek Him with our everything.
May we begin (This Day) Saying What’s Already Been Spoken.
May we begin (This Solitary Gift of Today) Writing What’s Already Been Written.
May we begin (This Moment) Singing Praises to the KING of Kings!
WHY?
- There are those who have not yet met Jesus!
- There are those who have not yet heard of the Father!
- There are those who have not yet been led to God’s Salvation through His Holy Spirit!
“For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, even penetrating as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him to whom we must answer.”
(Hebrews 4: 12-13 NASB)
- TRULY! TRULY! TRULY! “For the Word of God is living and active,”
- The Word, made Alive! “sharper than any two-edged sword,”
- Help Is On the Way! “even penetrating as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow,”
- What A Beautiful Name is His Name! “able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”
- Life After Death Exists! “no creature hidden from His sight,” &
- Wonderful, Merciful Savior! “Him to whom we must answer.”
