WE NEVER GO ALONE!
Where is the remotest part of the earth? Would we be able to find this place if we were to look in North America? South America? Europe? Asia? The Middle East? The remotest part of the earth is where Jesus said we were to be His witnesses, and not only there, but also in Jerusalem, and in Judea, and in Samaria. That’s where we are to speak to other people who do not know Jesus as Savior and Lord. That’s where we are to be witnesses for Jesus, and today, we are reminded that wherever we GO & however we GO—WE NEVER GO ALONE!
“So, when they had come together, [the apostles together with Jesus in the upper room before His ascension back to heaven] they began asking Him, saying, “Lord, is it at this time that You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?”
But He said to them, “It is not for you to know periods of time or appointed times which the Father has set by His own authority;
but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria and as far as the remotest part of the earth.”
(Acts 1: 6-8 NASB 2020)
As a believer, as a Christian, as a child of God, we don’t pray to a God who lives “out there;” we pray to God who placed Himself inside us when we became His child. The Holy Spirit of God filled us when He filled the void that was part of our being when we were born to our parents. That is the truth. Every person is born with a void deep inside, one that cannot be filled by anything other than the presence of Almighty God.
Here is the saddest statement ever: IF A PERSON REMAINS LOST AND DOES NOT EVER ACCEPT JESUS AS SAVIOR, THEN THIS VOID REMAINS AN EMPTY CAPTIVITY FOREVERMORE AS THE PERSON SPENDS ETERNITY FAR AWAY FROM GOD IN A PLACE OF UTTER DESTRUCTION AND ANGUISH!
IT IS A FACT! THE BIBLE SAYS IT IS SO!
Hallelujah, the opposite is TRUE! When a person believes Jesus died and raised to new life, accepts Jesus as Savior, and confesses his sins, then the most wonderfully beautiful miracle occurs: GOD PLACES HIS HOLY SPIRIT DEEP WITHIN THE PERSON, FILLING THE DEEP VOID THAT ONLY GOD CAN FILL, & NOT ONLY THAT, BUT GOD’S HOLY SPIRIT WILL REMAIN WITHIN THE PERSON WHO IS NOW “FOUND”—FOREVERMORE—AS THE PERSON SPENDS ETERNITY WITHIN THE PRESENCE OF GOD IN A PLACE OF EVERLASTING BEAUTY AND PEACE!
IT IS A FACT! THE BIBLE SAYS IT IS SO!
Jesus spoke with His apostles before He was crucified, teaching them, reassuring them, calming their fears. See with me the words of our Savior.
“I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, so that He may be with you forever;
the Helper is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him; but you know Him because He remains with you and will be in you.
I will not leave you as orphans; I am coming to you.
After a little while, the world no longer is going to see Me, but you are going to see Me; because I live, you also will live.
On that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you are in Me, and I in you.”
(John 14: 16-20 NASB 2020)
- Helping Us.
- Guiding us.
- Leading us.
- Directing us.
- Sustaining us.
- Keeping us.
- Taking us where we need to GO.
- Giving us the words we are to speak as we GO.
- Comforting us and Giving us boldness as we are witnesses of God’s salvation as we GO.
The Holy Spirit of Almighty God resides within us! Filling us with the power of God!
The Holy Spirit guides us to the heart of the Father!
The Holy Spirit transforms us as He fills the empty cavity only God can fill.
So as we pray, let us praise our heavenly Father God for His only Son who brought us the only way we could receive God’s amazing grace through His salvation.
